UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Ginae65, I liked Carpathians a lot and can't wait for Dark Slayer to come out. Have you read Feehan's Ghostwalkers? I like them even better than Carpathians.

Kyle Borland (kgborland) I have the first book in the ghostwalkers series :)
Whats the carpathians? And this septemeber Ward is coming out with a new series?

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 737 comments The Carpathians are anothe series by Christine Feehan, starting with Dark Prince. Its her vampire series, and very popular with a lot of people.

And yes, Ward's new series, Fallen Angels, starts with Covet. The same world as BDB with some crossover visits by some of the Brothers. I hope it's as good as we're all expecting, because it's means we only get one BDB book a year now. =(

Kyle Borland (kgborland) :(

Maybe these books will be more PNR then UF. It seemed the last couple books of BDB were more UF then PNR.

Do you all know how many Merry Gentry books there are supposed to be? I finished swallowing darkness and isn't the next one the last one?

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 737 comments Yeah, BDB has definitely started going a lot more towards UF, which Ward freely admits, and I love. I'm not sure if she's said how the new series will play out, but it will definitely still have a PNR basis. Marie-Terese from Zero Sum in LAv has been confirmed as the HEA for it.

I'm afraid I turned out to not be an LKH fan, but I'm sure someone else will chime in with an answer for you. =)

Kyle Borland (kgborland) I'm more a fan of Anita Blake. I love the earlier books and I keep reading hoping they will slope back into those.

I personally liked UF transition. I like PNR too but UF, I favor slightly more :P Maybe thats why I prefered the earlier Anita books :D

Hey Uniquely Moi, no I haven't read her Ghostwalkers series yet, I have it on my TBR list. Now if I could just stop rereading books I could get more books read.
Once I read J.R. Wards LAv and then the Insider Guide I just couldn't bear to leave the bothers yet so I started rereading them. Which this will only be my second go around so I'm catching things I missed before and now that I'm more invested in each character and love them even more, I'm getting a better feel for some characters that annoyed me at first. Is it 2010 yet...impatiently waiting for Lover Mine.

Melissa I haven't heard anywhere that the next Merry Gentry book will be the last. I knew she was going to change the direction because the plot will have to change (don't want to spoil it for anyone), but I hadn't heard that #8 is it for the series.

new_user | 1389 comments Oh, I was hoping for a HEA for Marie-Terese. Cool. :) But from what I hear the love story's a subplot in the Fallen Angel books. :(

Kyle Borland (kgborland) Yeah someone else told me 12 - 15 books for Merry Gentry earlier. I don't know how she can pull that off with this series but who knows.
