How interesting. One to recommend is Karl Ove Knausgaard; His writing is very much a thanksgiving meal from the north- You get filled with all the little beautiful pieces that all contribute to the meal :)

Thank you for the recommendation. I will give him a try. Pittsburgh is full of crime right now. I live in a small town about 40 miles southwest. Fall is here early this year, so the weather is cool. I've never been to Sweden, but try to find out as much as I can about your country. I love cultures.

It's the culture. It is the subjects that they write about. I watch a TV show called House Hunters and things are so different in Ireland. Also, Ireland is so much older and you have beautiful buildings. We have nothing like that here. Plus the weather is different. You have such a beautiful countryside. Ours is OK but lacks that beauty.
