This is going to sound really stupid, but I'm going to ask anyway. I KNOW I know who Josephus is, but I can't remember for the life of me. Could you refresh my memory? It's driving me nuts! :D

It's driving me nuts! :D"I didn't know who he was until my pastor mentioned him in a sermon and I had to look him up...he is said to comfirm many of the wars, sites and activities going on in the known world as Christanty began to develop.
Josephus is a Jewish historian who live during the time of Jesus.And actually wrote many manuscripts that are studied today.
Josephus was a Jewish historian. His histories aren't always accurate and he has a habit of coming off pompous and self glorifying. However, vivid writing and a certainly a person worth knowing about. The book can be difficult to get through, I took it in small chunks over the course of a year and still ended up skimming many parts. Mostly got the book because I wanted to look up quotes and citations directly.
