Vampire Academy series VS Bloodlines series
Bloodlines. Mostly because I don't like Rose but also because of the plot holes in VA and the screwing over of characters.
I'm enjoying Bloodlines much more.
I love them both. Both main characters are determined, lovable and also relatable

I prefer Bloodlines, I think it's because I think they have a funner storyline maybe, or I like Sydney's character better.Though I do miss the other characters from VA.

VA, though i am so glad to have Bloodlines:) especially because of Adrian.
I like them both. I can't choose, it's like having to choose either Dimitry or Adrian and I like them both too much.

But Dmitri is her true love, she was terrible to use Adrian yes. But they would never have made a good couple. Now Adrian and Sydney = MAGIC

To those who say bloodlines is getting boring obviously haven't read the indigo spell, because it is one incredible book. I'm not going to spoil it but I'm starting to love Sydney now. I love vampire academy more than bloodlines but bloodlines is still amazing.

I love both series sooo much, but I have to say that Vampire Academy is my favorite. Rose is just so amazing and I love Dimitri. He's just the perfect guy. Plus Lissa and Christian are great characters. I still can't wait for The Fiery Heart release though.
cant wait for vampire academy film to come out, the person who plays Dmitri is how i imagined him to look like thank god

I love both of the series of books they are both filled with drama,romance,magic and that is what i love.

I love VA because its the original but I love that she continued the series with Bloodlines

Oh, this is a no brainer- VA! Rose simply stands out b/c of her outrageous, passionate, and reckless attitude. What makes it even better? Romitri's relationship. I was sobbing half the time while reading the 3rd, 4th, and 5th! Reading Bloodlines is like talking to a wall for hours... SO BORING
I love both, but from characters point of view, I prefer Bloodlines. Adrian was always my favourite, and yeah I liked Rose, so it's good she appears occasionally in Bloodlines. So not all bad. In a way, I guess both series have their own benefits and good parts/bad parts. :/
I love the Bloodline series. I think they are better than the Vampire Academy. One because Adrian is my favorite. #TeamAdrianforever. I also don't like Rose's character that much. Yeah, Sydeny and Adrian are definitely my OTP!!!!!!
I personally adore Bloodlines over VA- to be honest I couldn't be bother to finish VA because everyone was screwing each other over and it was so overly angsty. Which totally pissed me off and Bloodlines, is so much more funnier and there is a greater character development. In addition to the plot have more substance than VA.
I love the ending of VA and the whole of Bloodlines. Sure, the first one starts out a bit boring, but it gets better by every book. Personally, I think Bloodlines is funnier than VA, mostly thanks to Adrian. SYDRIAN ALL THE WAY!!!!!To those who think the first book is boring, it's obvious you haven't read the rest, but KEEP READING! MOST OF THE BEST ACTION IS AFTER THE MIDDLE OF THE SECOND BOOK!!!
I prefer VA. For some reason I just find the characters more relatable- don't get me wrong, I love Bloodlines characters- but there is something very individual about VA. I love Rose and Dimitri as couple, like obsessing over them being together while reading, whereas with Sydney and Adrian I don't give as much thought. Maybe because I have read VA, Bloodlines doesn't seem as fresh and captivating. Maybe it's because VA is an old favourite, maybe because I experienced liking Dimitri more than Adrian, I don't know. But Vampire Academy won my heart.
Bloodlines for me. I didn't like Rose, and the first book just made me feel frustrated and angry. I read Bloodlines and at first had no clue it was about what happened after Vampire Academy! Then I was like... "well then." I liked Bloodlines better because I liked the concept better, everyone has their own opinions.
I personal think that the way that rachel bounced her characters off each made the book memorable. Rose and Sydney are two completly different peopl yet slowly become similar. Rose character was out going witty and amazingly beautiful. Sdney's character was smart, creative sneaky and from adrian said also amazingly beautiful. So I don't have a favorit but the books where the best i've read all year
I love both series a lot but in some ways I like more Sydney that Rose but not much. In VA Sydney was really annoy in some part but still great for the book, excellent twist. At the end I still love Rose LOL... It will be really cool if they interact more in the books!

I'm sure you will all be very excited to know that the guy that plays Dimitri in the VA movie is in the new Chanel ad with Kiera Knightley.
I really loved both books. The girl was the hero and did not need saving from a guy or anything like that. (NOT A FEMINIST) I just prefer books like that because they aren't as predictable. Both books had great romance characters though. Dimitri is amazing, but I think Adrian is also up there too.
Overall I think that Vampire Academy was better though because I just really connected with the characters and really experienced what was going on. Although, that may of come down to the way the book was written.

I know why everyone was so into VA. It bc, we've seen the character's in our mind more seeing them. The bloodline books haven;t went that long yet so we not as in to Sydney yet.

I was really mad when I saw the movie... they freaking destroyed, it was like a bad comedy

absolutely! I watched the movie first (big mistake), not knowing it was a book as my friend who was obsessed with the serious got me onto it. if you watch the movie first its good, but after reading the book and rewatching the movie, its horrifying. totally destroyed it Dennise! Everything is wrong ;/

IKR? Except Mia. I JUST realized it's most of the royals, except Tatiana, who I think did great with a Russian accent, but different from Danila's. Did anyone else notice that?

Agreed! the movie was horrible. The "comedy" sucked as well. I would have preferred more mystery and that gloomy factor yu know? instead, it feels like the movie was made in someone's backyard!!
VA always. I really don't like sydrian and the only thing that makes me keep reading BL series is Jeddie.

I was really excited about the movie till I saw it... It was insane, awful and they lost a lot of fans because of it.
