Hi Ally, I loved this book and all the characters, Ky' s my favorite, but I wanted to be told what happened to Matthew so I was wondering if you yourself had his fate planned out or did you just come up with him going to the otherlands? Also, do you just write and go back or do you write a little bit, fix it and write some more? One more thong, the Pilot, who did he have to find and is he related to any of the characters or is he just the Pilot? Thanks Olivia

Meiyu wrote: "I'm a little confused of the red garden day"that day cassia was stopped by the rising and they asked her to sort in data of people who were not eligable for matching and to mess up the societies system but they knew she would be sorting later that day because the rising had access to the societies data. She was sorting for the early beginnings of the rising and then she ran to her grandfather and asked him if he ever stole anything from society which is what the rising used to get cassia to comply with sorting their data to mess up societies match banquets, their biggest event. he told her the truth yes and then she went to work they gave her the red tablet and she forgot what happened besides she needed to go to see her grandfather. he could tell that she took it and he put that fraze in her head to mark that day and she never took the green tablet so she could eventually get it back with help. hope this helps!
Hi, Ally!!! It's such an honor to be here. I'm a huge fan of yours!I was just wondering: Which of the three novels in the Matched trilogy was your personal favorite?
Dear Ms. Ally Condie, creator of one of the best male character in the world, Xander Carrow,I haven't read Reached yet due to financial reasons and schedule conflicts. (Yep, teenagers can have those problems.) But I would be reading it, soon. First, I want to thank you for having Xander's POV in Reached. It's a very very wonderful gift, specially for someone like me, someone who missed Xander so much in Crossed. Second, I'm going to ask you a question. In your life, who is Cassia, Ky and Xander? I mean, in the book, I know they are the main characters. For the readers, they are a symbol. Symbol of independence of some sort. If the three of them were a quote, they'll be like this "Don't let the society get in your head. Fight them." They are like that to the readers. They are motivators. They can also be someone to fangirl on (Especially Xander.) So my question is, again, for you, who are they? Who is Cassia? Who is Ky? Who is Xander? They must be a big part of your life. This is pretty much a big series and this is probably a big part of your life. So I'd like to know. From your perspective, who are they.
Yours truly,
Angel
P.S. Sending you love from the Philippines. In behalf of all the Filipinos.
Hello. Not that you're going to see this message, but,
How are you?
And...
How did you come up with the idea of the society in the trilogy?
Hello Ally!! I have read your first two books and I totally love them. Love your poems and the way you write is so touching and captivating that I get totally lost in it . I just wanted you ask this that How collecting the Tissue samples when people die can bring them back or like make them immortal..I didn't quite understand that.Thank you...
Shweta :)
Hi Ally - What was your favorite book in the trilogy, and which one did you have most fun writing? Thanks!
Jules
Hi Ally! LOVE your series. I was just wondering: who are your biggest influences as a writer and what is some of your advice to unpublished authors? How do you keep yourself going after multiple rejections?
Thanks!
Sara
OMGosh Ally! You are an amazing writer! I read Matched in 2 days! I couldn't put it down it was sooooo good. I like reading that futuristic-like stuff. I was kept on my toes the whole time. I felt like I was Cassia because she went through some of the same things that I had to go through. I found the Ky and Xander in my life. Have you always liked writing? I've thought about writing a book, but writing is a little hard for me sometimes. Do you have any pointers to get started? Thanks for writing these books!!!!!!
Keep writing! :)
Carly
Hi, my name is Liset, from Tennessee. First of all, I loved the crossed trilogy. I fell in love with Ky since the first book, and the characters, along with the storyline got me hooked. So thank you for creating such believable characters!!! I appreciated how the second book took us through a journey to finding Ky. The emotions I felt when Cassia found Ky were so powerful, that I was thankful for how you slowly built up to that moment in the carvings. Here's my question: How did you decide how the third book was going to end? Did you consider another ending to the trilogy? Thank you in advanced! And God bless you for writing such an unforgettable trilogy!
Dear Ally, I really loved your Matched trilogy, especially these little quotes about the stars and the sky. This one is my favourite:“I climb into the dark for you. Are you waiting in the stars for me?” How do you come up with descriptions like this?
Hi Ally, How were you inspired to write Matched? Did you like think of an ending, then worked from Matched to Reached? What inspired the personalities of Ky and Xander?
Thanks!
Hi Ally,
What was your main inspiration while writing the Matched trilogy? Did you ever become bored while writing parts of the book, and if so, how did you overcome that? Do you have any advice for budding authors who wish to pursue a career in writing?
Sincerely,
Ann

Hello, I recently read the matched trilogy when a friend suggested it to me. I really enjoyed it because it was so unique in the whole idea. When ever I try to write, I never can get started because I can never think of an interesting thing to write about. So my question is, how were you able to come up with an idea that was completely new?-Margaret Woodburn
When you came up with the idea of having the books be revolved around being matched, did you ever feel pressure to do something that you didn't want to do but was forced to in your life?
Alli, I am a sixth grader and I recently read and admired your books. How do you decide the personalities of the characters in your books? Also, who is your favorite author and what is your favorite book?
Two questions:How did you get your book published and how did you think of the topic of your book? This idea of a futuristic utopia where love is chosen for you had to have come from somewhere.
Hi Ally !!! I'm such a big fan !!! What was your inspiration in writing the matched trilogy ?
Thank you !!
Ashleigh
Hi Ally!I'm a huge fan of your Matched Trilogy, I just want to ask what inspires you to write a book like that? and can you relate to Cassia's attitude?
PS: I do love the character of Ky. :)
Dear Ally, thank you very much for giving us these enjoyable books. You talk about power, friendship, loyalty, greed, art and many more topics in your books but my question is about LOVE. Do you believe that the name of our only soul mate is written in the stars and there is very little we can do about it?
Thank you.
Hi Ally
First of love; THANK YOU for write these books and make me look at the world in a different perspective.
Many of questions are already been asked, so I am just
going to repeat them:
- Will you make other books simearly to these?
- Will make a fourth book like a "bonus-book?"

are the characters ky,xander or cassia based on real people? and are there any life based moments in the books?p.s i've only read matched and crossed so i'd really appreciate it if you would write a spoiler alert for the reached based answers :) thanks
I know this question might be a bit odd, but why does no one dance anymore? Ky had seen Cassia trying to mimick the painted dancing people on the walls in the Carving and she didn't realize she was doing just that. Love your books and can't wait to read Reached!
Hi Ally!I just loved your Matched trilogy! I haven't exactly started the 3rd book, although I think it will be amazing like the first two! I was wondering how you got the idea of writing a book like this? Did you get the idea of a Utopian Society from another book you've read? Also, I would like to know some tips about writing! How could someone like me become an amazing writer like you? Reading your book inspired me to read so much more! Thanks so much!
Sincerely,
AC (Anna Caitlyn)
we all know about your matched trilogy. what i really want to know is, what are some other books you've written? i understand that you once published under the name of allison b. condie.
Hi Alley,Before I start, I just want to say that I think your series is brilliant. How did you com up with the idea?
I also wanted to ask how you get out of a writers block. I'm currently writing a story but I can't get past a certain part and I wondered if this ever happened to you and how you dealt with it.
Thanks,
Leni
Hi again,One more thing:
Will you be writing a guide to the series? I know Rick Riordan did it for his Percy Jackson books and I wondered if you would do the same. Could you? I'd be very interested to learn more about Cassia's world.
Hey Ms. Condie! Read all of the books, great concept!
Wondering what made you come up with the ending of Reached.
Thanks, M
I love your books. When you wrote this series did some of the parts in it happened or felt like it happened in your life and why did you start writing books? Also if your life was like that would you try to break free?P.S I am currently trying to write a story/book :)
Hi,Big Fan of your writing! I was realy involved with Matched, when I ended it I went to bed thinking what was going to happen lots of time...First question, you want to write more books? If yes, about what?
Second, when Matched was lauched I read that two movie companies were fighting to buy the rights...And Disney won,and a movie would coming out soon...But til now I havent seen nothing of the movie...So is going to have a movie of Matched trilogy??? I ve imagined the scenes already...In the time I remember they said that would be a success, cause people was interested in these kind sy-fys stories, cause they were done with twilight and angels stories...But that was a looonnggg time ago...Matched was the only book...So I realy wanna know,I love movies,Is going to have a movie?
Well,I think that's it for now...Lots of brazilian hugs and kisses...God Bless you!!!
Hi Ally,i just want to ask who or what inspired you in creating the characters of Cassia, Xander and Ky.?
and if you were Cassia who would you choose Xander or Ky?
