I have always pictured Pendergast as looking like Keith Carradine. He is best known for playing FBI agent Lundy in Dexter.

From the first book, I saw Tom Hiddleston as A. Pendergast, has an empathetic look at times....thin and tall...and Benedict Cumberbatch as D. Pendergast...tall and thin, can do a nasty look with face..Both very good actors.
People talking about the up and coming young actors, why????
NOOOOOO...the brothers are into their 40's and have a sort of good lucking sexy look about them....
If Tom Cruise tries for this, I WILL PUKE..he ruined one of the book series, for me already...

Yes Eamon....never heard of him....but I can see it....the cheekbones...have to be tall as well.....
