Jon (jonmoss) | 206 comments Is there a policy or procedure to follow as a Goodreads user to request the addition of a Feedbook edition to a book?

Case in point:

Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome

http://www.feedbooks.com/book/2173

http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/308

Thanks!

vicki_girl | 2765 comments Ok, I added two different ebook editions to Three Men in a Boat, but the 'download ebook' button is not appearing. Does it show up for someone else? Is it a caching issue?

I don't want to upload anymore versions until I know that I'm not screwing things up.

It's similar here -- I have several Feedbooks to enter and no idea of the procedure. The news of the recent tie-up came anterior to the ability to do it, it seems.

JG (Introverted Reader) | 480 comments I see the "download ebook" link on the page now.

And I see two formats to choose from.

I think they have to be approved once uploaded. There's definitely a delay.

vicki_girl | 2765 comments Ah, okay. Well then I will go ahead and upload the other formats.

ETA: Well, maybe later. I'm getting "unexpected error". Harumph!

Carolyn (seeford) | 579 comments I've seen the links on the pages, but wasn't sure what they were for. Are they for actually uploading the full text of the book?

When it exists as a non-copyright-violation, yes. So mostly those that are out of copyright.

My guess is that's why the delay, so someone at GR can vet new uploads.

Wow, that is a lot of storage space needed!
