Started this book this morning. It is...hmm. It is okay. A little slow to start. I am finding myself attempting to figure out what "fairy tale" it is hinting at...
Yeah its like something is keeping me reading, but I'm reading at a slower pace than usual. Her friend, Nan seems really nice, although at the beginning I was a little on the fence about her. It seems though that Mina's mom seems to know something...
The one thing I hate about some books, it takes too long to get good. I feel like the first 4 chapters were a waste of time. But once she saved Brody and went to his house and her mom freaked.. It's starting to get pretty good. So I hope the story line keeps progressing :)
Currently on chapter eight, and I'm so glad her mother told her, unlike other books where the mother lies for half the story and the girl/ character finds out themselves. I'm really wondering about this new mysterious man, why does he want the book anyways?
I just got to the part where she followed the bird outside of the library. I stopped for a movie. :)
I started reading this a couple months ago then got busy and didn't finish... I'll have to start it again :)
I only managed to read a chapter so far today, and I'm really wondering how these tales are going to show themselves,or if she'll tell Brody.
I haven't gotten to read today. I'm still at work. But I plan on reading some before bed. Amy join in. We aren't very far!
Hmm.. I'm on chapter ten now it's still unclear as to what exactly the fairy tale is though. Does it have to do with the red sweaters? And I'm surprised Nan is so accepting and doesn't find her crazy. And Mina seems like such a nice friend, finding the Grimoire, realizing she was in this magical store for six hours and then leaving this sketchy place, not worrying about the well being of Nan.
On chapter 9 now. The red hoodie. Wolf man. I'm taking the first fairy tale is going to be Little Red Riding Hood
I'm on chapter 18. It's getting good! I'm curious as to when they will tie it altogether for this story. I mean I know what Jared is. But I'm ready for the dots to start getting connected. Do you know what I mean?
Just finished it as well. Totally agree there should've been more action. There were some parts that just made no sense they'd be doing one thing and then change it into a totally different thing. The plot was good... the description not so good, and sometimes it felt a bit childish.

I believe this is a free book for Kindle as well, if anyone wishes to obtain it that way!
