March Group Read

Does everyone want to do a group read for March? If so, start nominating here!

I have three nominations; either Bleak House by Charles Dickens, The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins, or Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. :-)

Oh man, I'd love to discuss Bleak House! I read a few years ago, so I won't be revisiting it anytime soon, but I'd be very interested in everyone else's input.:)

Thank you; I hope I do too. This will be my first Dickens novel, so I'm really excited.

It wasn't the 1st Dickens novel I attempted. It was, however, the first one I finished!

Awesome. Which other ones did you attempt?

Um let's see: A Tale Of Two Cities, David Copperfield, and I think we might have parts of A Christmas Carol in high school, but never on my own. And I don't remember much about it, other than the basic premise.

Oh, I'd live to read A Tale of Two Cities!!!!!!

It's supposed to be one of his easier ones to get through. Along with Oliver Twist.

I plan on reading both of them sometime soon.

How about The Round House. I've heard positive things about it.

Bleak House is fine. I have not read Dickens in a while! It will be good to read something different...and as it is classic literature, its a free Kindle download.

Prepare to be challenged with Bleak House, everyone. It's not an easy read, IMO.

I'm going to have to pass on this one because of school. I would go with Bleak House too thought. Have heard a lot about it. Should be interesting.
