when with a quick read- tired of the drama books
Still trying to get back into reading. Maybe when school starts up, I'll find more time to read.
Finished 2 books since school started....have a lot more time now to read! Whoo hoo SCHOOL!!
Book 39, 40 & 41- I included 2 books as 1 count. They were all quick reads and only about 180-200+ pages each. Have a whole box of Harlequin that were given to me. Funny how Harlequin changed. They were more seduction talk and now they are more descriptive sex.(lol)
But still fun to read.
Took a short break. I finished 4 books this past week.Am so getting there, lol......
Back into the read mode. Cant believe I'm almost there!!!
From 3/27 till 11/20 50 books in 8 months.Not too slow with my reading-- but will read more, maybe I can get to 100 by March 27 of 2010.

I have started to read a few books on my daughters AR reading list. Sarah Dessen does write an excellent book. She cuts to the chase and tells the story from the girls view point. These books are excellent for young adults.

I just read FIREFLY LANE. This is an EXCELLENT book for everyone who has had a best friend. It is so weird to see myself in the book, from the music, what they wore to the hellbent friendship that last throughout time.

I loved it so much, that I gave it to my mom to read because that's her type of book. Anyone who reads it will not be disappointed...but prepared to shed some tears!

It was like she had channeled my best friend & I and then changed the names to protect the innocent. Thanks for the recommendation.
Up to 25 books.......1/4 of the way there
I have taken Donna's advice and found "Local Girls" I plan this as my next read. But in the mean time I have finished "The weight of Silence" by Heather Gudenkauf. I did like this book, but the jumping of people (chapters) retelling the story did get a little confusing. But it was an excellent story.

I just finished "The history of Lucy's Love life in 10 1/2 chapters" This book was kinda strange. She wants a good lover so she goes back in time to try on different "LOVERS".....and realizes that her current lover, may not be so flashy, but his Heart is real!
Istill need to real Local girls, but I wanted to finish off 2 other books that needed to be returned to the library. I real liked RAINWATER by Sandra Brown. I was so so completely different then her other books.

I managed to read a few books over Easter Vacation. Need to get back on track. Having a hard time finding books that hold my interest! I love the Lisa Jackson books, but I think Ive pretty much read all she wrote!Up to 38 books so far.
