Vicki Willis | 1033 comments Is anyone's homepage missing information?
Not sure if GR is just glitching, but on the home page, where the currently reading books are, my updates are gone.
And when I click on a book I have already read, all my updates are gone from there. The date that I read it is gone.
I get worried when my information is missing.

Same for me they did this last year when the new year came in they must be doing some type of update.

Yup. I was just discussing that somewhere else. There seems to be some new year's glitches.

message 2509: by Savanes (new)

Savanes | 2107 comments Yes same here... I have my currently reading list on the homepage but no progress bars.

Weird though most of the day I was able to do reviews and update then late in the day it disappeared.

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with it. My currently reading updates are still missing form my home page. Hopefully, that will be fixed soon. Yesterday my year in review wasn't updated properly, but it seems to be fine now.

message 2512: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis | 1033 comments For those of your who listen to audible. There is a challenge where if you listen to 3 audibles by March 3, you get a $20 Amazon credit. I just logged into my audible account and it looks legit!

message 2513: by Kristie, Moderator (new)

Kristie | 6832 comments Mod
I will definitely listen to 3 by then. :)

Just FYI - there are restrictions on what you can spend the $20 on and this is only for USA customers.

As soon as i signed up I was done lol it says I will get my 20 credit on March 17. For me personally i will use the credit on audible anyways unless the restrictions will not allow for that.

I don't think you can use it for digital content. It was just for items provided through Amazon and not third party vendors.

Thereadingbell | 311 comments Kristie wrote: "I don't think you can use it for digital content. It was just for items provided through Amazon and not third party vendors." that is fine i buy a lot of stuff from amazon.

I do too. And if they want to give me $20 for doing something I was going to do anyway, I'll take it!

Vicki Willis | 1033 comments Exactly my thoughts!

message 2519: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis | 1033 comments I just saw a preview for a movie of The Woman in the Window. The book was ok for me, but the movie looked really good. Sometimes that actually is the case of the movie being better than the book. I think it comes out in May.

message 2520: by Kristie, Moderator (new)

Kristie | 6832 comments Mod
I thought the book was just ok too. I can’t wait to see the trailer. I bet it is one where the movie is better.

message 2526: by Jayme (last edited Feb 14, 2020 06:01AM) (new)

Jayme Happy Valentine's Day! We are just going out for a quiet dinner and early night.

On an aside...Should the group header be changed from reading 2018 to 2019? I noticed it and was thinking about people stopping by and checking out the site - don't want them confused :)

That is how I teaching my 2nd grade class right now.

One of my real life book clubs is thinking about doing that. I think it's a great idea for groups that normally meet, but can't.

We don't usually meet in person for online clubs like this one, so it's not something we would necessarily plan as a group. Everyone can still participate in online clubs exactly the way they normally do.

Hi Erin -

Welcome to the group! I hope you have fun participating in our chats. We have a lot to do in this group and many friendly people.

I'm sorry to say that we are not able to set up or support Zoom chats in our group. We currently have 12,801 members, so it is not something that would be manageable. Also, this is too public a forum to post any Zoom meeting information, especially with the hacking issues they've had recently. If you are interested in setting up Zoom meetings, you will need to do so through private messages.

Hi Sonya! My Easter was very good. We had a nice dinner with our grandson and watched the Charlie Brown Easter special. How was your Easter?

Mine was much easier than usual. Couldn't gather with family, so I worked on a flooring project, instead! How about yours, Sonya?
