Maree and Vanessa, I definitely feel like going jogging or riding a bike when I read your comments. I am 55 kilos, so I am not going to be on a diet, I hate restricting myself in terms of food, but still I would like to keep fit and your example sounds really motivating :)Joanne, it is so good to hear from you here :), I definitely third Cathie and Vanessa, slip some details :) and all the best with your 'new' relationship :)

Sorry but I have no idea where to go with my question :S ... I came on today and noticed that on my "Goodreads Choice Award Nomination Challenge" I had accidently said my goal is 200 books! It was supposed to be 20! not 200! anyways, how can I fix that? I tried pressing edit but it told me to make a new folder >_< will I have to add all my books again??Thanks everyone!
Hi Rebecca! When I updated mine I went to the Goodreads Choice Award Book Club's home page and clicked on the Goodreads Choice Award Challenge icon. Near the bottom right there is a link that says "update my entry". If you click on that, it lets you change your goal. Good luck!

Dinner isn't until tomorrow...today is all about books!! And maybe meal planning, I don't have a clue what to make!
Hahaha! Enough wine and I won't need to cook! Lol! I'm currently debating between lasagna or stuffed chicken, both of which are time consuming but will keep me busy during the day!

Both sound delicious too! Yum. :)

Wow, Joanne, have a great holiday and I keep my fingers crossed for the dinner, I agree with Kristie, both meal options sound delicious :)
Happy Weekend everyone!!! What do you all have planned? I have been Staycationing this week and so far have visited the zoo, Casa Loma, ROM and the CN Tower. Today is my 'rest' day and tomorrow I'm heading to the Science Centre. Then Monday is back to work. Only two weeks until the kids go back to school...where has this summer gone?!?
Lots of great fun activities Joanne :-) ~ Did you see the Pandas as the Zoo. I love our zoo :-).Check out Buskerfest in the Lawrence Market District (Downtown) this week if you're looking for things to do. It's so interesting with buskers from all over the world performing. (It's also awesome as a date night!)
Are you going to the CNE?

Yep!! One looked dead, the other was adorable! sitting outside eating, I got some great pictures :D
I'm not sure if I'll go to the CNE this year, I'm pretty busy for the next couple of weeks.
How do I post pics on here without changing my profile? Or if you have facebook all of my pics from this week are on there....there's only 600 or so!
I have FB :-). You'd have to post some to photobucket and then copy the HTML code from each pic to here.
Wow, Vanessa, the picture is a real beauty, so is the place looking at it, I second Kristie, peaceful and tranquil, amazing :)
I love the Sainte Victoire (Aix-en-Provence). It was painted like a 100 times by Cezanne:https://www.google.fr/search?q=cezann...
Vanessa, you live in the grass...in the fields...on top of that mountain?! lolThe picture is absolutely beautiful. Where is home?
@Cathie, This is the view from my uncle's. :) And this is from my parents' (same mountain, other side).
I'm sorry I don't pictures from town, it's so gorgeous (I could always reinvente myself by being a tour guide for Aix-en-Provence). Here are google's pictures... https://www.google.fr/search?q=aix+en...
I'm heading back to Paris tomorrow :(
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Wow, the pics are overwhelmingly beautiful :), a perfect holiday destination, another one to put on my list of future travels :)
Is it just me or is there a bug with Goodreads reading challenge? Mine keeps disappearing and reappearing on the home page. The logo is still there but right now it asks me to set my goal and 2 days ago the GCAC challenge goal was displayed in its place (with the green logo): 15 books instead of 52! Weiiiiiiird!! I don't know if I make sense but I just wanted to know if my homepage was the only one suffering of drug and alcohol abuses!!! :S
I've had trouble with mine too. The GCAC challenge keeps getting mixed up with my Goodreads 2013 challenge and the numbers don't update properly. It's very strange.
I was watching mine for the last two days, and so far everything is ok, no mixing, no changing the numbers.
It seems to be fixed now. It was doing that for several days before Vanessa mentioned it, but it's been fine the past day or two. Hopefully Goodreads fixed the glitch.
Happy weekend everyone!! I have just finished my 10k race and now I plan to do absolutely nothing except read for the rest of the day! Well, I suppose I should shower cos this heat made me gross!
Congrats, Joanne. :), have a great time reading, and let me know what are your latest reads, I miss your recommendations :)
Right now I'm reading the Mortal Instruments series. And also Burn/Fever/Rush by Maya Banks, but they started to bore me so I'm taking a break from that!
Congrats on your 10k Joanne! You're doing so great. You'll be running marathons before you know it! ;)

I totally second that comment!
Maree, I go to the gym at least 3 times/week. I'm never on diet but I tend to be careful about what I eat! I have no idea what I weigh (I decided clothes are way better to assess whether I gained weight or not!) :) Did you read The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess. It rocks!! I'm on phase 2 and it's very challenging (and effective).
