Charlie Bray (charlie-bray) | 40 comments Since the advent of eBook self-publishing, it’s never been easier for authors to realize their dream, and the book market is awash with hidden jewels.

And ‘hidden’ is the operative word. I remember wanting to show my support to the Great Indie Movement by buying and reading as many Indie books as possible. And, let’s face it, the prices are so keen, you can buy half a dozen for the price of a conventionally published book. But finding a collection of such books to browse in one place was not easy.

So I set up a blog, INDIETRIBE, to bring Indie books to Indie readers. Within the blog is an Indie Book Store, where these gems are no longer hidden.

So why not wave the flag for Indies everywhere and browse their books on my blog.

Gerald Griffin (authorgeraldggriffin) | 306 comments Charlie, Some time back I sent you the information you requested on my Indie suspense thriller OF GOOD AND EVIL, but I see it nowhere on your blog INDIETRIBE.

Yes, where have the Indie books gone, including mine!

message 3: by Charlie (new)

Charlie Bray (charlie-bray) | 40 comments Gerald,
Your book OF GOOD AND EVIL was showcased free of charge on INDIETRIBE on January 15th, in accordance with my promise to you to showcase it during January. Please find the link below:

http://theindietribe.wordpress.com/20...

So, in answer to your humorous aside, "Where have the Indie books gone, including mine?" - On the INDIETRIBE site, where I said they would be,

Very Best Regards,

Charlie

Gerald Griffin (authorgeraldggriffin) | 306 comments I clicked your link, Charlie. Jolly good show! The first time I've seen it.

But, of course, I've been involed with the movie. Your readers may be further interested (especially since part of the movie's funding is out of London) in my compelling interview on this extrardinary flick, which can be seen by clicking http://www.fountainbluepublishing.com...

Readers may find it newsworthy that an Indie book has made it this far.

Thanks for your continued help!

Best,

Gerald

Jay Lefevers | 3 comments Charlie,

Greenleaf Book Group is my publisher, but I am also capable of selling books myself. Does this scenario enable me to list my book on your website. It's quite impressive!

Jamie Sheffield (jamiesheffield) | 6 comments My indie book has met with amazingly great reviews on both Amazon and GoodReads (nearly all 5-stars, and none below 4-stars), but has not taken off yet.

Tyler Cunningham enjoys living at the edge of uncharted and unknown territories. Never comfortable with traditional human relationships, he nevertheless makes his living meeting the needs of others through a combination of research and asking the unexpected questions. But this time, when the closest thing Tyler has to a friend goes missing as a result of those questions, he finds himself trapped and powerless in the face of a cruel and violent conspiracy. “Here Be Monsters" takes readers on an astonishing thrill-ride through the Adirondack Park in Northern New York, the Northeast's last great wilderness, rushing headlong towards a shocking conclusion deep in the wilderness.

You can download a FREE excerpt at: http://www.goodreads.com/ebooks/downl...

It's available in print and kindle formats at Amazon and local bookstores everywhere.

Thanks for giving it a read (or mention on your blog)!

Charles Ameringer (cda1) | 38 comments Hi Charlie; here's some grist for the mill: I'm Charles Ameringer, an 86-year-old retired history professor, who has drawn on his travels and research to write "The Old Spook," a spy/thriller novel about a fictional CIA operative, who interacts with real people and actual events in recent history on the global stage; he confronts rebel chieftains, Mafia figures, and KGB agents in Miami, Mexico, and Central and South America. Fans of John LeCarre and James Bruno will enjoy unraveling this mix of fact and fiction. The Old Spook

My book Hear Me Roar, is a poetry collection meant to touch hearts and souls. It is currently available on google books.
I call the works, spoken word and free verse of a life story through poetry. So many of the things I have learned along the way should be shared and taught to young people. I have a mission, and a goal in mind. But how can we begin a revolution in which man treats himself and one another better?! It begins with self-love; laugh cry, scream and shout with me as I grew and became...(and the process is un-ending)a woman. http://facebook.com/victoria.pain.33 http://mzvpain.deviantart.com
