When I finished The Hunger Games I wasn't that in love with the series yet. But it grew on me, and eventually I got attached to it. And now I'm obsessed. Even with the movie.

It's just that I really loved this book it was my favorite and every one I had spoken to hated it... but all you guys seem to disagree. Thanks guys you're all girls on fire at heart <3

Totally agree!

Haha, same.

Totally agree with you. It was really realistic, not a fairy tail happy ending, and the war was just like the hunger games were happening, and the arena was the whole capitol.

Jessica, the first time I read the book I was surprised as well! I just finished rereading it, though, and throughout the book there was foreshadowing about Katniss not believing in President Coin's ideals and likening them to President Snow. I just didn't pick it all up the first time. However, I'm still confused as to why Katniss voted yes for the final Hunger Games. I know she said it was for Prim, but I still don't see how that would have been enough for her to vote yes.
I loved the book AND the ending I thought it was perfect ! But I guess that's just me.. But Catching Fire is my favorite in the trilogy (:

I'm not gonna lie I did love the "but there are much worse games to play" line.
