I just found my copy of Troubadour and have added it to my every growing stack of books to read next. I'm currently reading The Season by Sarah MacLean and am about to start Madame Tussaud: A Novel of the French Revolution by Michelle Moran.

I'm currently in the middle of Allegiance which I'm surprisingly really enjoying as I didn't like the first book, Legacy, that much.

Elinor | 26 comments I just finished reading In the Shadow of the Lamp. But there were some points where I got a bit annoyed at the characters.

LAWonder10 | 6 comments I just finished reading an adventure filled historical romance called' The Rebels of Cordovia' by Linda Weaver Clarke. It is an interesting twist to a very familiar tale. For further review of it go to my site: http://www.rockinbookreviews.com

I'm currently reading the sequel to Venom, Belladonna which I think I'm enjoying even more than the first one!

message 28: by Elinor (new)

Elinor | 26 comments I read Venom, I liked the twist of the plot and how everything is not what it seemed. I wrote a review on it.
I'm now reading The Queen Must Die.

message 29: by LAWonder10 (new)

LAWonder10 | 6 comments 'SageBrush' by William Wayne Dicksion is a great historical fiction which the guys will enjoy as much, or more, than the girls. It is like an action-packed, fast moving, yet romantic, western. It is totally clean. Would be a great movie! My Book Review - http://www.rockinbookreviews.com

I'm currently over halfway through That Burning Summer by Lydia Syson and I'm loving it so far - especially the cover. It doesn't have the same emotional impact that Code Name Verity does, I think, but it's still a really great ya World War II novel.

message 32: by Zaryna (new)

Zaryna (zaryna23) Im Currently in the middle of reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, just finished book 2, Dragonfly in Amber, today and it was awesome! The books are great so far so anyone who doesn't know what to read should read these! :)

Renee (thebookroyal) I'm currently about 100 pages into Nefertiti so far I'm liking it, able to follow it a little better than The White Queen but again, i'm only a hundred pages in :P

There was a book sale at my work today and I managed to pick up The Second Empress: A Novel of Napoleon's Court for $1 :)

message 35: by N (new)

N | 4 comments I am currently reading The Darkest Corner of the World by Urve Tamberg.
I teach a gifted 7th grade lit class and am looking for a companion novel for Between Shades of Gray if anyone has any ideas. I find it challenging to locate books on a high reading level that has appropriate content for my students. War and Peace would be a bit over their heads!

message 36: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisamaritt) | 8 comments Perks of Being a Wallflower - my foray into verrrry recent "historical fiction" (the 90s). It's ok but a much younger and simpler read than I thought. I just saw a lot of people loved it so I had to pick it up.
