I'm glad you liked it! I usually don't get the hyped books but this book really is good.

That's fine, I told you not to wait (it was not available for me at the beginning of the month). Hope that you liked it?
Hi Ruby,I finished another one of my picks Hot Rocks. While I usually love Nora Roberts this wasn't one of my favorites. It was ok. I felt the story was too rushed and the characters fell in love to quickly. It wasn't really believable. Thanks for the pick!
I finished my third pick The Undesirable. I liked it but it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. I like my dystopias to be darker and this one ended happily. I still gave it four stars because I did enjoy it.

Karen --Why, oh why can't The Perfect Play be as good as it's cover?!?! I mean,
...that just sells the book right there, doesn't it? Unfortunately, I found the story itself to be boring and predictable. I didn't particularly love Tara and Nathan either. Mick was ok, but could have been SO much better. For $12.99 I think I deserved a hell of a lot more. It's not even lendable! So, I will continue to look at and love this cover, but I will not spend another $12.99 on the next book. 2 stars. As always, though, thanks for giving me the push to satisfy my curiosity about this one. :)

I completely agree with you. That cover is so freaking lickable, it was seriously one of the best eye-candies for me of 2012.... and then you delve inside... le sigh.
I know, it's so sad. I was ready for it to blow me away and it was SO far from doing that. Ah well, still an amazing cover.

I've been eying that cover and book for two years but the price has always pulled me up short of buying it. Looks like I'll just leave it on my wishlist and perv on the eye-candy instead of actually reading it ;)
Finished my Buddy Read with Makenzie for
didn't like this one too much, not much of a conflict in the book. I am desperatly hoping Cam's story will once again bring back all the awesomeness that is Jennifer Ashley..

I'm sorry you didn't like it, Katie - I actually did, quite a bit. Guess that's why there are so many different books and authors out there, something for everyone! But whatever anyone thinks of the content, the cover is amazing, isn't it? :D

Absolutely, Karen. :) That cover is beyond amazing. I think that's what made me like Mick more than the other characters...I just kept picturing the cover and it was all good.

I just finished my second book that Carla recommended - Summer at Seaside Cove - it really hit the spot - the prefect combo of sweet and sexy and hot kitchen scene - i don't know if i'll be able to look at sugar cookies the same again...

Jim gave me that one in a past PIFM - I really liked it too :)

I would say the same--the premise is really odd--hard to believe that one would mascarade as a courtesan and be accepted at balls, etc. as one. Otherwise, I liked the characters and the romance.
I just finished my fourth PIFM book this month,
, recommended by Karen. It has an odd premise (women pretending to be courtesans), but otherwise I liked the story and really liked the hero and heroine. I've ordered the next in the series. Thanks for the recommendation, Karen!
I just finished my first PIFM for the month,
. Thanks for the pick, Valerie! It was a really sweet story and I enjoyed it tremendously!
I've finished 2 more picks in the last couple of days - Making Promises, which I'd been looking forward to and it didn't disappoint. I listened to the audiobook, and I have to say that the narration was almost painful at first, it was so slow and draggy, but once I turned it up to the faster speed on my mp3 player, it was actually fairly good! And, I finished Zero at the Bone yesterday, which I also liked a lot, although it was kind of like the Energizer Bunny of books - it just kept on going and going and going...I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to end. Fortunately that's not a bad thing when you're enjoying the book! :)Thanks for the great picks this month, Brandilyn - I might even fit in another one!
Hi Bre,I am so happy that you enjoyed most of the picks.
I know what you mean about The Sea of Tranquility, it is an awesome read. I haven't read Comming Home but will defenetely give it a shot.
I also agree with your comment on Never Too Far, I liked it but it wasn't as good as the first, I think the story moved too fast and lacked in the end.
I don't remember if I mentioned this when I picked Flat-Out-Love for you but I did not like it. Just like you, I figured out the "secret" from the beggining. But so much people love it that I thought you might like it.
I haven't read Painted Faces, but people have recommended it so much that I think it's going to be my next read.
Again, Im really glad you enjoyed your reads!

Hi Skandia, just finished my second pick
This is a new author for me and I had no idea what to expect. I really liked it and will definitely be reading more. Good sexy, romantic suspense. What more can I ask for in a pick. Thanks!!

Sandy, just wanted to let you know I finally finished my last February pick, Outlander, and it was a definite 5 star book for me. The narration was flawless. Audiobook at its finest. THANKS!!
Erin - I finished another pick: From Pack to Pride. It was a fun little story that fits in nicely if you want a quick downtime read :) Thanks!
Katie I just finished Lee's Story and you're right it was the best in the series! This series is waaaayyy to good to be free. I loved it! Thanks for the pick. I don't know if I'll get to any other picks this month. I have some other challenge that needs finishing before the month ends. ;)
Hi Fran, I finished two more picks! Quinn's Hart and Party Naked and I really liked both of them! Both were really sweet and Party Naked was pretty hot too! I think I am going to read Unravelled next and still hope to get to couple more after that if I can.To everyone, sorry I haven't updated this challenge lately. Our Internet connection has been flaky for the last week or so and I fell like I am always behind with things. Hopefully it will be better next week when I get back to my computer.

I got a 4th one in!! Finished
today! Another great one by Maya Banks!!Thanks again for the great picks!
Karen -- I just finished up Candy Man. It was a Halloween short that was ok. Not much to it. I gave it 2 stars. :)
I'm going to try to squeeze a few more of your recs in before the end of the month. I'm on to Storm's Heart now...I'm excited about this one. I really enjoyed Dragon Bound. :)
Nadine wrote: "Tyare you interested in doing a buddy read?
"Hey, whoops. completely forgot about that. I just got in from out of town. Sure, I can squeeze this one in this week. I'll send you a message. :)
Hi Ruby,I finished the next pick for me Mr. Perfect and it was really good. It was a murder mystery but the characters were funny and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the pick.
