So glad you liked it Kat! I will start it by Monday :)

Brett,
I loved Devil in Winter so much - could be my favorite Kleypas ever. And I've read every one of her historicals :)

I hadn't heard anything about it until I saw a couple reviews when I started a couple days ago. Unfortunately, it looks like the next one might be even worse. That's too bad, since I've really enjoyed this series. Hopefully she can turn it around. :)

Devil in Winter was my fav in the series as well!
Hope you love Cut & Run ;)

I was thinking I'd heard that the next one was better, but I'm not sure. I know I've heard a lot of really good comments about Gone Country though, so hopefully she's back on track.

Thanks for the great picks! I finished Bad Boys Do and it was cute! I hope to have one more read from this list too.

I don't know what took me so long to get back to this series I love the writng the way it jumps right into the story and action and the whole opposites attract thing.

These are the books I have read so far:

I still have these left to read:

If I promise to do better with

I finished my third and fourth picks -

I enjoyed them both, thanks so much for all the awesome picks once again!

Woohoo! Thanks Valerie! It would be great if there was a sequel!

I liked it Kat. I liked that the H was trying to find her inner strength and sex kitten. The H/h were hot together but it was the H's ultimate journey to find her self and her voice that I really enjoyed. A solid 3.5*

I finished a second pick:

I really enjoyed it and Lisa Kleypas is probably joining the ranks of my comfort read authors.

Here are my picks for you - I tried to get a mix of your TBR shelf and new to you recommendations with a variety of different genres.

Dee,
I finished Slumber and like it. Rated it a 4. Thanks for getting me to read that and get it off my TBR list. Thanks for finishing the buddy read with me.

Woohoo! Thanks Valerie! It would be great if there was a sequel!"
I emailed the author and she said she is working on it now :)"
Cool. I'd love to see what those two got up to.

I finished the second pick

I know, it was in my TBR but I didn't really like it - not fond of this kind of humor I suppose"
Well I'm glad you liked the first one at least :)

Sorry for the delay--lost in a confluence of girl scout cookie duties, preparing students for the test they need to graduate, grading, finishing library books with due dates etc. etc.
I'm going to start with the Canyons of Night because I can't believe I haven't read this yet. I even know where it is. Hope to read more because the month does include a week of break, but will start there.

Woohoo! Thanks Valerie! It would be great if there was a sequel!"

Wow,that's the best news I've heard all day! Except that now I'm going to be impatient waiting for it. :D

I finished my next pick Marked and I have to say it was pretty good. It is about greek gods and it is a good story. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I've already read(listen) the next 2 books in In death series .My library has them on audio so I always have at least one on my Ipod. I agree , the series just keeps getting better and better.

Great YA PN book with interesting setting and takes place in Paris which is almost always an extra credit for me. Can't wait to continue the series.
Thanks again for the great pick!

Glad you liked it! I'll have to move it up on my TBR list. :)

And I have our latecomers picking for each other -
Ezinwanyi~Mord'Sith

Well I read To Hate and To Hold and give it 3 stars.
Very different take on the traditional vampire books I've read. Here the two MC's are cursed into a bonding ceremony and are forced to stay in physical contact with each other or they will suffer horrible physical consequences. Normally it wouldn't be and issue but they hate each other so the story evolves from there. The story provides some interesting twists, but I wasn't blown away by the overall plot. Decent sex scenes and secondary plot theme however.
I look forward to reading more winners on your list of recommendations!

I've been stalled on that one for quite a while because I've heard from so many people that it's not as good. I'm going to have to break down and read it sooner or later so I can continue the series! I'm glad it was at least ok for you.
