Just let me know when you want to start it. I finished Mystery Man and I loved it. I am starting GIO today. Thank you again for the picks.

MountainKat | 31597 comments Hi Fran, I finished my second pick this month! I loved My Summer of Wes! Thank you for picking it and giving me a push to read it.

Are we starting Frog now?

Yay! So glad you loved MSoW! I started Frog today because Sass and Breann posted comments all weekend in the Buddy Read thread that made me want to start it! I really like it so far. Start whenever you can and I will wait to chat about it when you are done.

I'm going to have to look for the buddy read thread, didn't think about that! I started this morning too, not quite 25%. I won't finish today, but should tomorrow!

Breann | 398 comments MK, you're going to have a sugar high going from MSoW to Frog. Both such sweet romances ;)

~KarenH~ | 11338 comments I finished my first pick for this month, Life Lessons, and I loved it - can't wait to get to the rest of the series. Thanks for the great recommendation, Brandilyn!

message 514: by Vi (new)

Vi | 2794 comments Penney, I managed to hold out Calculated In Death (In Death, #36) by J.D. Robb until March. I finished it on Sunday and it was a lovely addition to the series. As in the previous books, it's not much of a mystery but how Eve ties the knots. There was a lot of LOL moments and smiley moments too. In short, I loved it. I can't wait for the next book!

message 515: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments I finished Love Slave for Two: Reunions that Carla picked for me - unfortunately, I think the long delay between the last one and this one kind of ruined it for me - her writing felt really chunky and it was just blah...I gave it 2 stars

message 516: by Fran, Moderator (new)

Fran | 12278 comments Hey Breann,

I finished Frog by Mary Calmes this morning and adored it! You have chosen two of my favorite m/m books these last few PIFM months- thank you! I am reading another of your picks for me now, Of Honor and Love (Love is Always Write) by S.J. Frost and plan on getting to at least two more, Vanilla on Top (Walk on the Wild Side, #1) by C.J. Ellisson and A Reason To Believe by Diana Copland . I want to get to every single book on your list for me, it might take me awhile though. So many books, so little time!

message 517: by Breann (new)

Breann | 398 comments Glad you liked Frog! Another one I might want to buy so I can reread. You must get to A Reason to Believe, it was fantastic!

I will! That one might have to wait a week or so. I borrowed another one from BN I need to get to plus a few others for the random book list challenge. There just isn't enough time in the day for everything I want to read, LOL.

message 520: by Lacy (new)

Lacy (lacy_stewart) | 1966 comments I finished The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3) by Richelle Mead and I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Elizabeth

The pressure to read it within the two weeks, it makes me crazy sometimes!

message 522: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31597 comments Hi Fran, I finished Frog (my third pick) this morning and loved it! Sooooo sweet! I have several others queued up, but need to get to a few for the monthly challenge first and then there are the other challenges.... ~sigh~

message 523: by Fran, Moderator (new)

Fran | 12278 comments Kat,

I'm so glad you loved it- me too! If you are interested in reading The Lonely in the future, it dropped down to .99 on Amazon. I loved it and Tara Brown will be joining us at Ask An Author in April. It's dark though, be warned, kinda twisted but I couldn't put it down!

GREAT! I'm not sure if you are one to read more than one book at a time, so whenever you get a chance let me know and I'd love to start.

Don't forget this is our MM buddy read this month :) I haven't started it yet, but I'm sure the thread has been started...

message 528: by Kami (new)

Kami (aidansmama) | 988 comments I finished my first pick A Shimmer of Angels. It was pretty good and I gave it four stars. I didn't like the protagonist a whole lot. I was liking her better towards the end. The story was good but she is weak. I much prefer a stronger female character. But since it is the beginning of the series, I imagine her character will grow stronger.

Fran | 12278 comments I finished my second pick, Of Honor and Love (Love is Always Write) by S.J. Frost . It was ok, interesting setting, 1867 Japan. The insta-love was a little hard to believe in this one, with one man being American and one a Japanese Samurai warrior.

message 534: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Lacy, I finished His at Night by Sherry Thomas and enjoyed it. I had a few issues here and there but it was a good solid three star read for me. Thanks for the push!

message 535: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Hi Erin. I finished my first book, Boys of Summer (Boys of Summer #1) by Cooper Davis , the other day. I know you picked this from my TBR shelf - I liked it, but it didn't blow me out of the water. It was all first person POV which feels a bit unrounded to me. But thanks for helping me knock that one off!

I'm just about to start Open Season by Linda Howard now :)

message 536: by Ty (new)

Ty | 1943 comments Nadine wrote: "Ty I finished Too today it was set during the winter...lol good read I have it 4 stars"

Was that the Gio book? I was thinking of adding the first in the series to my TBR. Somehow, I resisted. Maybe I was mentally strong that day. :D
Glad you liked it!

Penney
That is good to hear! =)
I just put in for it at the library. I figured if I got you to read it, I should finally read it myself!

message 538: by Inge (new)

Inge Hi Dawn,

I just finished The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie and really enjoyed it. I couldn't put it down at first but found that it kind of lulled at the end. Anyways, thanks for the pick.
I'm gonna read Play by Play next.

I am reading a book that wasn't picked for me right now because it is the 8th book in a series that I have been reading and I had preordered and woke up yesterday to find it on my kindle...love little surprised like that...lol..I should be done with it tomorrow and then I'll be ready to start another pick. looking forward to our buddy read.

message 542: by Ty (new)

Ty | 1943 comments finished my first PIFM a couple days ago, Liquid Lies. It was... interesting. Certainly a different premise. The couple was pretty lukewarm to me and thus, no connection. Ah well.

message 543: by Megan L (new)

Megan L Harnett | 806 comments Hi Ruby,

I finished One on One by Cathryn Fox today. It was an okay book. Nothing special but a fun quick story. Thanks for the pick!

I finished the second pick Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec .
I know, it was in my TBR but I didn't really like it - not fond of this kind of humor I suppose

message 547: by Ruth Ann (new)

Ruth Ann (ruthannsantiago) | 172 comments GiGi-I finished my first pick- Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno #1) by Sylvain Reynard I gave it a 4 star rating. I intend to read the 2nd book and the 3rd when it is published.
