Unbeknownst to the world, the moon has always been a vibrant place, teeming with life. A subterranean lunar society exists, as intricate and corrupt as ours.
Here, a queen resides, conscripting teenagers into her army. Once wheedled out and coerced into joining, the teens are promptly brainwashed, undergoing extensive training. All ties to their pasts are severed. They move to a different part of city, residing in the military quarters to be ordered about at the queen's leisure. As a means to keep track of her little troops, each soldier is given a number. Some will take his number as his new name, the queen's drafting so thorough that the teenager loses even that part of himself. Life is efficient. Life is obedient. Life is...empty.
However, a select few characters are...awake. Remember, clinging to their past lives, able to see the malicious tyranny with which the queen rules.
And so they come to a crossroads. Stand up against the queen or continue on, obsequious to the queen's wishes.
But how can you fight, when it can come at the cost of your world dying?
For you see, the queen and her army go from planet to planet, slowly obliterating them, draining them of their resources so that they may return home, feed them to the core of energy in the center of the moon.
If the queen does not leave other planets fallow, then the same fate will become of the moon. And now...Now the queen has her sights set on Earth.
So what do you do? Fight as a mindless zombie to the queen's wishes? Incite rebellions? Squash uprisings? Carry on as a simple citizen, watching your world flicker with dying life? Do you experiment on children, erasing everything that makes them who they are?
