I was looking at the various editions for Shards of Honour by Lois McMaster Bujold and I found two Kindle editions. I went to Amazon.com and the edition listed here was not found. The other was. This is a bogus entry and should be deleted.

That edition is no longer for sale, but it used to be. We do not delete out-of-print editions, electronic or otherwise.

Plus the publisher Baen only recently reissued some ebooks at amazon after a long period of pulling their kindle editions. So there were older kindle editions only available until publisher break with amazon [at which time Baen sold kindle and some other ebook formats directly from their site only (and still do, sell at baenebooks site) confusingly either missing isbn numbers or re-using paperback isbns on the ebooks as well].

Now the Baen ebooks in kindle formats are coming back to amazon, new editions with brand spanking new asin to be combined with previously published editions. Not to delete the older not-out-of-print but out-of-kindle-availability editions.

Somewhere buried on publisher site are more dates and info; I am certain the break between Baen ebooks and amazon lasted several years.
