Attitude Check Time - new blog posting

Did you ever have everything breakdown at once? Today we are going to buy a new computer for my husband and a new printer for me. Hopefully we will get in on some of the Presidents' Day Sales and get a real bargain. However, if you recall, we have just returned from three weeks of ministry in India. So instead of murmumring and complaining about what happened, I am instead rejoicing that I don't have to wash my clothes in the canal or carry water back to my house from the village tap, or built a fire outside to heat my water to take a bath. I am thankful that I have paved streets and glass in my windows and a refrigerator. And I am thankful that I can afford to buy a new computer and have electricity with which to power it. With so much to be thankful for, how can I possibly complain about having to buy a new computer. Attitude check time!!!!

Thankfulness makes our lives soooo much better. This morning, I spent much of my prayer time giving thanks. Prayer and thanksgiving make a perfect blend of harmony.
