Nickname: As a child, her friends used to call her Zure or Zurie, but now as a fifteen year old she isn't really a fan of nicknames. Her name was the name her mother chose for her; the least she could do to honour her mom is to keep her given name. She'd answer to Patricia too, as it's her middle name, but as not many people know that her middle name is Patricia they don't bother calling her anything but Azure.
Age: Fifteen
Birthday: Azure was born on what would be sunny day in July; to be exact, the fifth of July at about 12:30 am. She was supposed to arrive on Independance Day but she came late. Funnily enough, she always tries to be early for everything.
Gender: Female
Years at Camp: She has been at camp for over three long, long years. Her anniversary of arriving at camp is her birthday; she arrived at camp after grueling month on the road the day she turned twelve.
Ethnicity: She’s American, descended from Europeans; actually, she is descended from Virginia Dare, one of the first European to set foot on American soil.
Status: Year rounder, as she can’t really go home. Her mother was killed by a monster when they were going to the local store, and that’s when eleven-year-old Azure took the address card her school satyr had given her and headed for Camp Half-Blood, after taking her mother’s wallet. It’s not stealing, not when the person you will thief from is dead.
Physical Appearance: Whenever you see her, you get the feeling that Azure has spent the day hanging out on the beach, even though she doesn’t really visit the golden sands of Camp Half-Blood any more. She has long blonde hair that falls down her back, sea green eyes, arched eyebrows which stand out on her face, long eyelashes and an ivory complexion often masked by a tan and countless freckles. She hates her freckles. Come to think of it, she hates every part of her looks. Azure could be considered pretty, although she’d never admit it herself, because she’s a blonde and the stereotypes that circle blondes wouldn’t allow her to. She stands at a height of 5’8”. She is not thin, slender, curvy or wiry like a Barbie doll, or fat, big-boned, solid and heavy-framed like a whale, but somewhere in between. She doesn’t wear make-up, however she does have a liking for jewellery.
Dressing Style: Azure dresses how she wants, but often in white or her camp tee. She prefers jeans or t-shirts to long dresses or miniskirts. She isn’t exactly a dumb blonde mean girl and dresses in the way she feels comfortable. Azure is never seen without her grey-blue hat, which perches on her head at a jaunty angle. Azure only has one dress; a long, straight-down, full-length thing the same colour as her hat, which she will wear even to a fancy Cinderella-esque ball no matter how much fuss is made. Azure is a fan of jewelry, and wears a number of bangles and bracelets on her right arm, always the same necklace (her Camp Half-Blood beads) and every now and then maybe a fancy hairclip or something to tie away her long blonde hair. Speaking of hair, Azure isn’t too fussed about how she should style it, pulling her long blonde locks into a long ponytail day after day after day. She, unlike many girls at camp, actually likes her orange camp t-shirt and wears it as much as possible.
Personality: Azure tries to be optimistic, happy and as immature as a fifteen year old can be, but she has always been a shy person even before the discovery of her status in life as a demigod, preferring to recline in the corner with her sketchpad and pencil. She always worries about everything, from monsters getting through the borders of camp to her cabin being struck by lightning in the middle of the night and crushing her and her half-siblings. Azure never seems to have time for trivial things such as shopping or gossiping, although she would enjoy fitting in with other girls her age, as she is always trying to do everything, see everything and help everyone. Being a pessimist, she never sees the bright side and always works as though she might die tomorrow; hey, it’s possible she might just drop dead this minute, isn’t it? People don’t really notice, however, that Azure isn’t really a very normal fifteen-year-old, because when she ventures out of her bubble she’s able to cover the shy, worried little mouse that she really is and fit in with other people (other people not referring to the Aphrodite cabin’s inhabitants). She manages to hide her true nature very well after years of practice and trying; she understands other people very well even though she is always hiding behind what she calls ‘the other Azure’. This is just hiding two things about her; her shy personality and her abilities that would make her a mean-and-popular high school bully. These are her sadistic, sarcastic remarks and the fact that she’s a good liar. When, perchance, she goes and says something or does something snake-like, she is always apologizing, although being as worried of offending people as she is she says ‘sorry’ after about everything she says.
Fears:
Rational Fears: Failure
Azure has innumerable fears, both rational and irrational, but her biggest fear is failure, especially in the eyes of her friends and respected ones. If she, say, made a fool of herself and her father grew to know about it, she’d be embarrassed to no end and probably wouldn’t show her face.
Irrational Fears: Fire
Fire can put out even the largest waves which crash onto golden sands, and so as a daughter of Poseidon is extremely freaked out by even a tiny flame from a candle. It’s irrational, people tell her, she hasn’t done anything to Hestia or Hephaestus, but either way she’s always very wary whenever seeing Hestia poking the campfire.
Fatal Flaw: Fear
Azure is feared by everything; she has all sorts of phobias ranging from heights to fire to isolation. Let’s say she was on the battlefield, and she was faced with one of her fears, there’s be no way she’d make an asset in a war.
Philosophy: “Manners maketh the man.”
Azure, like her mother and her grandmother before her, is a stickler for manners, although if she had been brought up in a different household she probably wouldn’t have turned out that way.
History: Mariah Cross, a nineteen-year-old store clerk, was behind the counter of the hardware store selling magnets, torch batteries and toolboxes. Mariah had always been able to see things that nobody else could see; she could see through the ever-thickening mist. She was arguing with a customer about the prices of a box of nails, when the most good-looking person she had ever seen entered the store. He stood in line and when his turn arrived asked Mariah if she had any fishing nets or nylon ropes for sale. The flustered Mariah nodded without a sound and pointed at where the fishing nets and nylon ropes were, the man purchased several, donned his hat (a fishing cap with ‘NEPTUNE’S LUCKY FISHING HAT’) and left the store.

Maybe it was Mariah’s imagination, but she began seeing the man everywhere; she caught herself daydreaming about him when she should be swiping barcodes on hardware items. (She was later fired for daydreaming on the job and found a store needing help by the sea.) Sooner or later she bumped into the same man at the beach, holding a trident and a fishing net. Naturally, she asked him politely why he held it, and he tried to convince her that she didn’t see what she could see. After Mariah had proven herself to be stubborn about what she could see, Poseidon (for that was the man, obviously) asked her out and they started – you know.

Sooner or later Poseidon told Mariah that he had to leave and that when the baby was old enough, she should take him or her to Camp Half-Blood. Mariah cried herself to sleep for a week and soon discovered that she was carrying Azure. She went to her mother Rhea for comfort. Mariah was given that and so much more from her mother. When the baby was born Mariah and Rhea debated for hours on the name. Rhea wanted the name of her own mother, Patricia, but Mariah scoffed and insisted on the more exotic, elegant name Azure. Eventually Rhea, realizing that there was no swaying her stubborn daughter, let Mariah have her way and so the girl was named Azure. To please her mother, Mariah added Patricia as a middle name.

Azure grew up in a busy household. Her mother and grandmother were sticklers for manners; you’d think that the regular dinner guests were the Queen of England, the President, Victoria Beckham and other rich, posh people. Despite the fussy nature about manners she had picked up at home, Azure kept her cool at school and actually had quite a few friends.

Then her grandmother died. Rhea Cross died in her sleep one night. She had been ill for a year, and Azure every day would run up and down the stairs in the Cross house to care for her grandmother. There was no delaying death, but Azure was deeply saddened, and so she took some coins out of her coin collection and placed them in Rhea’s ice-cold fist. Little did she know that one of those coins – the coin she had dug up in her backyard – was a Greek drachma.

Back to school, the now ten-year-old Azure was drifting away from her friends, who had formed a ‘popular’ clique and were doing things that Azure (and her mother) disapproved of. She got through elementary school fine, meeting and befriending a satyr who gave her a Camp Half-Blood business card. The satyr asked Azure to go to camp if anything bad happened. At the start of summer vacation went by. On her eleventh birthday she went with her mother to a candy store, her mother wanting some sugar and Azure wanting some Reese’s cups and several other candy. They bought the candy and left the store to find the Chimera in their way. Everyone else seemed to think that it was a dog. Mariah pulled Azure to run but Azure, petrified, could not move from where she was. Mariah pushed her daughter out of the way only to give herself up to the brutal Chimera.

Azure tentatively took her mother’s wallet and ran. She lived in the New Orleans area, and had to make the journey to Long Island with no adult supervision. Azure soon met an old woman in Utah who was in need of assistance, so Azure decided to take care of her for a few years. The woman reminded her of Rhea Cross. So for seven months Azure cared for the woman; until the death of the woman. Sooner or later she arrived at camp after a long year on the road, and was claimed by Poseidon.

Weapon of Choice: Azure is a pacifist through and through, but when fighting is necessary she takes a brutal approach with a Celestial bronze sword. Relationship Status: Single, and would prefer to stay that way as long as possible. She doesn't really like boys and finds them annoying although she may or may not like someone. She'd never admit it though.

~Azure is a neat-freak, and always cleans up Poseidon cabin, trying to make the cabin spotless. She doesn’t like sleeping in dirty conditions.
~She can never sleep in a rainstorm.
~When there is some great disaster somewhere in the world Azure cries for the lives of people she doesn’t even know.
~She hates archery and bows.
~She also hates frills, low-cut clothes and surprisingly enough, horses.

Name: Limerick Carlos Nox. I know-Limerick? His father is the god of poetry, and he insisted that his son be named after a kind of poetry. He agreed with Limerick's mother that Limerick was the name to go for. Carlos Nox was his grandfather, incidentally a son of Zephyros, one of Apollo's rivals.
Nickname: Limerick hasn't been able to find a suitable nickname for his first name...and it isn't like he hasn't tried. Who wants to be named after a kind of poetry? Not Limerick, for sure. He's tried Lim, Rick and even his last two names but they didn't suit him at all, so nowadays he just grits his teeth and bears with his ridiculous name.
Age: 13 - "Five more years and I'll be legally able to do stuff to make me even more awesome!"
Birthday: 1st January; people find it quaint that Limerick was born on the first day of the new millennium. Limerick is really sick of all the comments, whether snide or adoring, about his birthday. Actually, Limerick hates a lot of his passport details - not like he has a passport; he's never even been outside of the United States.
Gender: Masculine, though he a joke is often cracked that with an 'exotic' name like Limerick, there is no accounting whether he is a boy or a girl.

Ethnicity: Born in the States, but his mother was British and his grandparents Irish...and of course he's got Greek God ethnicity.
Status: Year Rounder; Limerick stays at camp all year not because he doesn't want to see his mother, but because he doesn't want to live in the same house as his stepfather. His mother was upset but supported his decision once she discovered the reasons behind it. He'd love to be a summer camper, but that's just out of the question.
Appearance: A rich Irish ancestry gave Limerick his shocking dark red hair, which looks as though it has never met the teeth of a comb and takes the appearance of a bird's nest. His eyes are close-set and are colored in a dark forest green, and he has thick eyebrows and stubby lashes. He is nearly 4'8'' but can't seem to grow enough to make an acceptable height for a 13 year old boy. He weighs about 41 kilograms (90 lbs) and is quite skinny and wiry, slight and agile. His pale complexion which succumbs so easily to burning in the sun is dotted with freckles as is typical of a redheaded person.
Personality: Limerick is one of those people who, when tries to be funny, fails miserably, but when trying to be serious makes everyone around him split their sides. Nobody gets his humor. He is a rather superstitious person, as he has a lucky number and believes several of those British/Irish superstitions. Limerick also has a strong sense of honour and justice as shown by his great compassion. He greatly cares for his friends and family willing to risk his life to protect or help them. Though a natural leader, Limerick can be plagued by doubt and criticizes himself whenever he makes an error. He has a strong sense of justice and fairness to his friends and is a natural leader. When you first meet him, Limerick's sense of fierce loyalty is overwhelming. He is sly to some end and rather sarcastic, but is not that cruel. He's disobedient, easily frustrated and angry, but most of all rash and daring, never thinking. He's also not good with the opposite gender, easily insulted, stubborn and a little bit on the paranoid side.
History: Clara Nox met and fell head over heels in love with Apollo when she was only nineteen, even though they were only together for a few months. He took himself to her under the facade of Aaron Sharp. One night Apollo left and left a message, which read:

When the boy is born, name him after a kind of poetry for my sake. - Aaron

Limerick grew up in the United States, where Clara left to as soon as she realized she was carrying a baby; her mother she knew would turn her out if she found out about Aaron and the unnamed boy. He grew up in the streets of Manhattan, wondering if he would ever have someone to call 'dad'; he longed for a good father figure in his life. He was teased for many reasons; the British accent he had picked up from his mother, the fact that his father was an unknown figure and his mother, who never socialized with the neighbors among other things.

One day, when Limerick was six, a woman who Limerick didn't know came to the house; she had been called by a snoopy neighbor to investigate the suspicious Nox family. The woman was from the Child Protection Services, who reported that the only problem was that Limerick did not have a father figure in his life. Clara told the woman the basics of Limerick's parentage, though not the whole story, and the woman suggested getting a stepfather for Limerick. So Clara remarried to a man called Gareth Cage, and though she insisted on changing her and Limerick's name, Gareth, noting Limerick's discomfort, suggested that Limerick remain a Nox and not change his name to become a Cage. Clara grudgingly agreed, and Limerick, now eight, thought that his stepfather may be the father figure he had always wanted in his life.

The second Gareth was introduced to the Nox house, he changed for the worse, always treating Limerick like dirt and his mother like a servant. He was arrogant, cruel and sarcastic, always having more time for his friends and other horrible things than the well-being of his wife and stepson. He left Limerick alone but at night he would fake-sleep to hear the cries of his mother and the cruel laughter of his stepfather. Limerick was twelve when he met a satyr at his boarding school, who during the summer holidays took Limerick with his mother's consent to Camp Half-Blood. It was not long before Apollo claimed him and Limerick realized that his father hadn't left him out of pure spite after all.

Weapon of Choice: Being the son of Apollo, Limerick is very good at archery. He has his own bow; a handsome thing. Limerick realizes that it was made by a very able craftsman. Made out of simple pine wood, Limerick wouldn't trade it for any other weapon even if it doesn't look very impressive.
Fatal Flaw: Cowardice
Limerick may boast about his extreme skill on the battlefield, but the battle is more than just theory. When faced with a real battle, Limerick is not only cowardly, but he realizes that he's actually a secret pacifist. He'll hide in the back of the battlefield and only attack when in self-defense. But after the battle, preferably after killing a few monsters, he'll completely forget his new ideals and brag about how many monsters he's shot and about his sheer 'awesomeness' when shooting an arrow out of the bow.
Relationship Status: Limerick's never been very good with females; he may or may not like someone (though if he did, he'd never admit it). The thing is, he's wary about starting a relationship because he's scared of doing what Apollo did to his mother.
Other:
~Just because he's fresh at camp, doesn't make him naive. He isn't an idiot. He knows some things. And he's definitely not a baby.
~He's a Capricorn according to the horoscope, but you can't believe everything a horoscope says. He's nothing like the given Capricorn traits and that's that.
~His favourite colour is burgundy. Or maybe silver. Or maybe gold. Or maybe midnight blue. Or maybe pastel yellow. Or maybe forest green. He's actually never been able to figure out his favourite colour.
~Though he'd never admit it, he's actually very interested in science. If it wasn't for his dyslexia, he'd probably get a Bachelor of Sciences.
~Limerick's always been very good at poetry, story-telling and art. Even as a kid his art teacher would stare wide-eyed at the crayoned drawings he'd procure. He's a good story-teller although he's unable to write his tales down, and a poet at heart, though if he's asked to think of a limerick he'd probably scream.

Nickname: Clementine doesn't have a nickname; she loves the name Clementine, it is her favourite name, and she says that she would prefer to be named Clementine. This leads for people to believe that Clementine is not her real name, and just one that she envisioned for herself - but believe me, she is really called Clementine Parker.
Age: Clementine is fifteen years old, or so she says.
Birthday: Clementine was born on the twenty-eighth of February, but nobody knows what year, what time or in what weather conditions. They barely know anything about her. No-one knows if her name is even really Clementine Constance Parker.
