I'd be a bloodborne. A Bloodborne is a mix of a vampire and human. Only females are bloodborne and they're powerful beings that drink blood since childhood, but their skin is warm and their heart beats and they can eat food and drink. There is some are flaws with them, but I'd definitely be one because I'd need to be a vamp who still can eat her chocolate.

Well I kinda created Bloodbornes in my vampire series, But The book Bloodborne isn't yet released. However I think other vampire books have vampires that can eat and drink and so forth.I can't do chocolate covered cherries ever. One of those things ate a whole box when I was a kid and got sick, sooo now the smell or thought gags me. But strawberries yum.
I'm thinking I'd choose shifter as well-one with the ability to change into any creature, kinda like Sam from the Sookie Stackhouse books.Speaking of candy... what about chocolate covered gummy bears? Weird but delicious!

mmm, chocolate gummy bears!
And I agree, shifter would be cool. I'd like to turn into a tiger! :D
Chocolate covered gummy bears are amazing. So are shifters. Too cool that after mentioning chocolate covered strawberries tonight at work I was given a bowl full out of the blue!
ever since reading the Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa i think it would be awesome to be like Meghan Chase; able to use both Summer & Iron magic..
Well a vampire would be out because I am not giving up food. I would like to be something magical though. A fairy maybe because they are both beautiful and magical.
I think I would be a kick ass shifter like in Shelly Laurenston's series or a kick ass angel like Elena in the Guild Hunter series or a kick ass Valkyrie like in Immortals After Dark... either way I want to be kick ass lol
Vampire, definitely. I also like the powers I gave my Indigo Child, too. I wish I had them in real life!
I'm trying to think of something but I think this question is too deep for me. I keep thinking of one my characters who has the magical ability to turn people into blow-up sex dolls. Completely useless talent but still the coolest power I can imagine. lol.
I think I would be a fae halfling, I love how the Fae can't lie but they can be so careful as to what they say. There is a mental component there. I love my tech so halfling is my best bet. I think something close to October Daye.
I'd be a psychic--because I am slightly that way in rl. Nothing great or anything--just occassionally I'll get a brief "flash." But on the other hand--the only time that it seems to work is when I'm extremely unhappy (i.e. depressed) and I'm not sure I'd like to live like that full time. But I wouldn't want to be a vampire either--no WAY am I giving up my chocolate. What about a dhampire? But the whole "drinking blood" thing kind of makes me go "ick". And if I am a shifter--I want it to be one like Mercy Thompson, where there isn't a lot of pain when you shift (I already live in constant pain, so no thanks on having to put up with that when changing.)
Actually, I think what I'd REALLY Want to be is a NA shaman. My family is part Choctaw, so I do have the bloodlines for that. :o)

I wouldn't know what to be. I'm slightly sensitive and would like the idea of developing my "abilities", but I'm afraid of opening doors I shouldn't and can't close easily...
Shapeshifting always sounded cool, as did flight. I never put so much thought into what I would be.

I'd like to be a cat shifter of some sort as long as the shifter is like one of the ones in Shelly Laurenston's books (or maybe one of Nalini Singh's Changelings).
I'd be Lilithian, a vampire that feeds off vampires and can eat food, their bites are dangerous to vampires. I wouldn't mind having a hint of clairvoyance either
I don't want to live forever I just wanna kick butt while I'm living but valkeryies in the book valkeryie rising by Jessica verday lives forever so that's kinda cool but then again it's...not? *migraine*
hmmm. I love centaurs and fairies growing up and now. I loved Mr. Tumnus (Narnia) who was a faun. But I'd want more kick-ass powers. So, vampire faun? Or vampire fairy, yeah that sounds right. Vampire fairy. You could be good and complicated or really really bad. I like that.
I would be a shifter whose process isn't painful like Shelly Laurenston's shifters - maybe a Cheetah. Or an angel from Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter world.
Or a Valkyrie from Kresley Cole's IAD.
This question is to difficult for me to answer because when I'm reading a book and I like the thought of being one supernatural or another it's usually the personality not the powers that I love about it. It would be pretty cool to be Kate Daniel's, shes awesome, but I would actually like to be her not just have her powers lol does this count? Other than that I think out of most of the books I've read the powers I like best are Christine feehans Carpathian's but I'm a girl and I don't really like how they are all protected and coodled, I love the books but I couldn't live like that.
I'd be a Southwestern witch who could flash into fireball and soar across the sky like a shooting star.A southwestern witch, who is lucky enough to find a rare piedra iman (a magnetic shape-shifting stone) can turn into anyone or anything she wished.
I could eat what I want and remain thin!
I could be immortal since I could stay young forever!
I actually own a magnetic stone, but have yet to shape-shift (but not for want of trying.)
Oh, my God! A ball of fire fell from the sky! Witch lights the villagers call them! The fireball exploded.
A witch's fiery body tapped across the grass like a tango dancer, with flaming head and arched back. She kicked up a burning leg.
Her flames burned out, her dance collapsing to a swirling pile of cinders shaped like a woman
She melted to rustling ashes, forming a clay-like woman.
The witch walked, faceless, then turned to flesh, her skin no longer a patch of runny clay, but dry, cracked earth. Her eyelashes were scorched. The tips of her hair were lit like the ends of cigarettes.
The witch was dressed in the latest runway model fashion with her head thrown back, a long cigarette holder dangling from her mouth. Her long, sleek body was smoking, her dress sassy red.
"Would you like to dance, darling?" she asked me.
Now that's a Southwest witch!
I would love to be a Tairen Soul from the tairen soul series. have an awesome second form, breath fire, fly and kick butt, then have the power of the elements, live in a beautiful magical land and a long life. sounds good to me!
This made me laugh. My husband always says that if he could have a power it would be to know exactly where things were (especially useful when having a 'boy look'!).
I would Love to be like Gemma from the Fallen star series (Jessica Sorensen) where I have the amazing boyfriend & different powers especially the foreseers power :D
