History: Vitale grew up with his mom and dad, with a twin brother. Everything was kind of going away, in this apocalyptic wasteland of a world he lived in, until one day while in the forest he was attacked by a vampire and turned. He was devastated, because he couldn't see his family anymore, or his girlfriend who was still back at camp.

But then a serious misjudgment tragically ended the lives of her family, friends, and beloved. Her sanity slipped for several centuries. Finally, portions of it began to return following the advent of the modern world. She adopted a young boy who reminded her of someone she once knew.

He's extremely charismatic and knows how to use his words of charm to obtain what he wants. He isn't afraid to try something new but he isn't the kind to run after a woman. He likes them when they come to him, otherwise he just assumes that they want to play hard to get -- but he doesn't work that way. He's rather controlling and if ever you get a peek into who he truly is, Josiah is extremely unstable. He's hurting on the inside, still grieving over the loss of his parents he killed himself. He's capable of being sweet but he thinks of it as a weakness. Anything remotely close to sweet is weakness for the boy. Which leads me to say that Jose is cold and distant when it comes to actual emotions. He loves to play games, but not be played, nor does love exist in his world.

History: Now, before he was a vampire, Josiah was a rather endearing boy, teacher's pet and the definition of good. But one night, as he walked to the lake, he was cornered by three vampires who made him go through excruciating torture before finally turning him. Not wanting his family to go through the pain he did...he slaughtered his entire family. Drank every last bit of their blood. Then he buried them all side by side, having dug his own grave with nothing in it as well. Because...to Josiah...he is dead.
