This is a large park with a variety of places. There are some stone paths, most of which will lead to the center where a large fountain stands. There is a small children's playground to one side and another area is dedicated for barbecuing, scattered with grills and picnic tables. There is a small pond near the end of the park. Few come to swim in it, as there is a pool for that. It is mainly there for fishing. The rest of the green stands empty save for the paths and scattered benches.

For Mavis, everyday was always the same. Not many kids would approach her, leaving her puzzled. Everytime she felt naive wondering why; she hated those kinds of questions - the why's. Why questions were the kind of questions that were large in numbers but had the most complex mysteries. It was highly aggravating when one has to discover these kinds of answers for themselves. But the results were worth it. At least, ninety percent of the time.Currently, the innocent female sat cross legged in the park near the pond. Mavis always thought she was quite simple looking, but did not realize how beautiful she truly appeared. Her hair; of the richest and deepest ebony, looking a bit lighter. As to the sun's raised spilled through the white clouds that blocked it at this time of day. It used to be long, and ended with light curls - but she disposed of that factor. Now her hair was styled in a slightly curly pixie cut. The style made her emerald colored eyes seem more vivid, and as for her skin, rosier but still its general pale pigment. Mavis simply wore a creme, long sleeved laced shirt with a black top under it. It was accompanied by her pale pink denim gilet, dark jeans, and grey combat boots. Indeed, she was truly a "girly girl".
To occupy herself, Mavis simply grabbed a small handful of grass in her hand and let the broken pieces trail in the soft breeze. Some might ask. . .why wasn't she in school? But unfortunately, Mavis caught a bit of a cold. She should be in bed, you would think. Yes, she should but her parents let her wander about. They let her because they never noticed. They never cared. much either. A small burning sensation began to form in the back of her nose. Mavis pinched it, then slightly tilted her head back releasing a loud sneeze.
Walking through the park Perry yawned and stretched his arms as he walked. He had ditched school shortly after his interaction with Alexis and Les. Mostly because Perry was tired. He had a headache from dealing with Alexis' best friend, a headache from the annoying buzz of nonsensical chatter, and he was still waiting on that reply from Aeryon and Lydia. Oh well.....if he stood them up, then that was their own faults for not texting him back. Heading down the path through the park he paused as a loud sneeze invaded upon his thoughts. Shattering the small bubble of Perry-babble that was flowing around his head.Looking around it took a second before his eyes caught sight of a girl sitting down by the pond on the ground. Just looking at her profile she didn't look....one-hundred percent. She had sort of a weary look to the edges of her eyes. Still she was pretty.....huh. Pixie curled pretty....Who was she? He knew that he had seen her before and walking over he sat down in the grass next to her before offering her a smile. What was her name again? Oh right!
"Hey Mavis," He greeted with that typical warm, Perry smile of his. In the light of the day his blue eyes seemed to glow an impossible crystalline color. As if made from sapphires or some equally lovely hue of frosted blue. "What are you doing here, by yourself?" He asked curiously, he was wondering why she wasn't at school. And why if alone she didn't have some sort of companion? She was pretty. So why was she alone? Oh please don't let her be one of those psycho pretty girls that never shut up.
((I'm making so many typos today. I must be more tird than I though ^ ^;))Her body jerked in surprise and looked over at the guy who suddenly seemed to appear out of no where. Did she get caught? Nah. . .it was just Perry. Everyone knew Perry, for he was beautiful and quite popular amongst Salem High. It surprised her how he actually even knew her name; she wasn't popular nor was she as bold. Her mouth quirked to meet his warm smile. It relaxed her, and she felt secretly happy that someone came to join her. Was it selfish to think that? Shutting of her worries, Mavis continued what she was doing before - plucking grass just to occupy herself.
The female shrugged, "Just thinking. I didn't feel like staying home," she said her voice timid but loud enough for him to hear. Believe it or not her voice was actually shut off before. Some people would think she's mute, when she just blocked herself from speaking. It surprised them later on when they witnessed her uttering more than one word. All thanks to Taylor, who boosted up her confidence. It was a shame she was now buried six feet under the ground.
Mavis looked up from the ground and cocked her head slightly at Perry, her cheeks red with a coming fever. "What are you doing here by yourself?" Rude was not of her intentions, but she was confused. He was of the popular kind - practically an alien. Shouldn't he be surrounded by a posse full of fake snobs? The though piqued her interest. Everyone wanted to know the real Perry, and she couldn't help but admit she wanted to also. The boy was truly a mystery; it would also experience a new outlook she can view in Perry's point of view.
[ahaha it's all good xD]Perry nodded, "Yeah. Thinking is always harder to do at places where people are around to interrupt you, like at home or in school." He shrugged his shoulders before leaning back on his hands and looking out over the reflective surface of the water. It's too bad that the ducks hadn't yet returned to the pond. It was always fun to watch the ducks swim around and duck under the water for food, their legs in the air for that split second. Careless creatures. Thinking of the ducks only brought happier memories to Perry's mind making his smile one of true genuine happiness.
Turning his eyes back to Mavis he smiled at her, "I'm escaping," Bringing his pointer finger up to his lips, his eyes sparkled in a mischievousness light. "Sssssh, don't tell anyone you saw me here." Letting out a laugh as he rested his hand on the ground again he gave her a look that seemed to say 'hey-can-you-blame-me?'. "It's nice to get away from expectations. At school people expect me to be Super Perry, Popular Extraordinaire. At home, people expect me to be Perry, best son ever. Sometimes it's more fun to just escape everything and be Perry." He looked over at her and his smile dropped a bit his eyes clouding with a sheepish sort of light. "Sorry. I tend to talk without thinking things through."
He did not know who truly correct he was. In Mavis's household her parents barely paid that much attention. They were too caught up with June, or Junebug, he would call her affectionately. Sometimes Mavis would get the feeling that they loved June more than her, even if Mavis was now technically older than her older sister. But she strongly believed in staying opimistic, and even if they did not seem to notice, here were always other people that would notice her. Mavis smiled softly, not judging him in the slightest. She did not see anything wrong with escaping once in a while. Escaping was perfectly healthy. A silent laugh escaped her mouth - the kind that shook her chest but no sound was released. Perry was surely amusing and it was just what she needed to trail her mind off of her fever. "I promise I won't. And it's okay I don't mind hearing you talk," she says sincerity coating every single word that stumbled out from her mouth, "You don't have to 'Extraordinary Perry' if you don't want to," she said brightly, cocking her head to the side. Mavis did not normally talk often, which made her a good listener as well.
Rose walked into the park, sitting quietly under one of the trees, pulling out her violin and begining to play Motrzart softly, closing her eyes and slipping into herself.((continuing, that was realy short, sorry))
Rose always love nature, and it seemed the whole park went silent as she played, like the birds and the wind waited to hear her song. She segwayed from the Motzart melody to one of her own, the seamless transition making the two pieces seem as though they were one. She played through the homesickness and pain she felt, the feelings reflected in the music streaming from her violin. She loved pianos more than violins. She felt more connected with the big black grand piano that was at her old boarding school than the keyboards at this one.
Perry raised a brow over at her, "Oh? But I do. If I'm not Extraordinary Perry......then I would be Worthless Perry." He shrugged and then smiled slightly and opened his mouth to say more but stopped at the sound of violin music suddenly streaming through the air, carrying down through the wind. At the sound he turned his head in that direction and caught sight of a girl. Another girl from school. Was everyone ditching today? It wasn't even ditch day. Turning his attention back to Mavis he smiled slightly at her, "You're one of those listener type of girls, right?" He asked for confirmation, after all it was rare to find a girl who didn't like to talk. At least rare for Perry to find a girl that didn't like to talk anyway. Almost all the girls he knew liked to talk, think, or be talked about (in a good way). Even Alexis seemed to be skilled at that. Bringing the conversation around to her.
School...she would have to go later. The school was still waiting on her transfer papers though. They were stashed in her satchel, hanging from the tree. She didn't want another new school, another new town, for god's sake was it not enough that she had come all the way from England to this place?Rose opened her eyes, letting her violin fall from her shoulder with a final vibrato. She pulled the ponytail from her hair, letting it fall about her shouders. She was supposed to be a prodigy, what was she now?
She stood and pulled the transfer papers from her bag, but the wind swept them from her hands as she put her violin down. With a gasp she started after them, swearing under her breath.
Worthless Perry? Was that even possible? As soon as he said 'one of those' Mavis coughed and looked away nervously. It didn't break her ego, even if she barely had an ego. But it just made her a bit nervous. Was she one of those listener girls? "Yeah, I guess so. Is there a problem with it?" she asked, not wanting to come off as rude. But it would help if someone told her what was wrong with her, if there was anything wrong that they could point out. Taylor used to bother her about being unsocial before, but that was when she stopped talking completely. She was still a bit knew at voicing her opinions after an extended period of her life.
Shaking his head Perry nudged her shoulder lightly with his hand, "Don't get down on yourself, Mavis. It's refreshing. Most girls at Salem only care about themselves, it's nice to meet someone who is willing to listen to others for a change." He smiled at her trying to get her to smile or something. Or at least to lighten that sad light that was in her eyes. She looked a bit like one of those puppies on the commercials where the spokesperson tried to get you call this number to donate money to the abused and now rescued animals. Just then a few papers rolled and tumbled along the ground before fluttering to the edge of the pond. Wrinkling his brow, Perry stretched forward and picked up the papers. The top edges were damp with the pond water but the rest seemed to be unscathed. Eyes scanning over the papers he frowned, Transfer Papers? A transfer student? This late in the semester? And whoever they belonged to must've been careless to let them blow away.
Not paying attention, Rose ran into Perry, falling back, looking up at him."My papers!" she exclaimed, "Thank god! I'm so sorry, I was getting them out to go get things worked out and they just blew away."
Rose stood up, brushing off her dress and tucking her hair behind her ear, looking between the two people she had obviously just interupted.
"I'm sorry, if I could just take my papers and go? I really didn't meant to interupt anything," she asked, her British accent now shining through in her words.
Mavis laughed softly and nodded at Perry. It surely had helped. Worriedly she glanced at Rose with kind eyes. The pools of emerald were warm and inviting. Thank the heavens, another person. She thought her and Perry were alone; not many high school kids that went to Salem went to the park. Supressing a cough, she choked only a bit when she began her sentence. It tickled deep in her throat - not the kind of condition to be out in the cold like this. "Are you okay?" she asked.
Perry smiled at the girl her British accent thick in her words, "Explains why you're late to the party. The British are always too slow to respond." He joked before handing her the papers. At the sound of Mavis' cough Perry frowned and shrugged off his jacket. Black leather jacket that smelled like cinnamon from the constant presence of cinnamon gum in his pockets. Walking over, and behind Mavis, he draped it over her shoulders before turning his attention back to the new girl. "You should be more careful with your papers." A slow smirk crossed his face, "Not everyone at Salem is going to be as nice as I am and if you lose something valuable there.......you'll regret it." He warned, knowing that if she had lost those papers in the school hallway and say Mason had picked them up? Yeah she would've been done for. Especially if Mason was in one of his foul moods.
"Yeah, I'm...fine," Rose answered, lying her ass off, honestly she just wanted to go home and cry herself to sleep. No one here even knew her, no one would want anything to do with her, but then again, she was used to fending for herself, her parents had always just been trying to get power and money for themselves, partially why they had adopted her, the checks that came every month from her birth family. She pushed everything from her mind and offered the girl a hand. "My name's Melissa Rosalina Montague, but everyone just calls me Rose."
((Sorry to keep you guys waiting e A e))Mavis nodded, "I'm Mavis, nice to meet you," she said. Her cheeks flushed a bit darker, wondering whether it was her fever or pure embarassment. Perry actually gave her a jacket. Mavis held onto the ends of the large jacket so it wouldn't fall off of her small frame. "Welcome to Salem High. I never even knew we had a transfer student."
[it's all good :) ] Perry shrugged and smiled at the transfer easily, "Yeah. Welcome to Salem High." He welcomed her easily, after all once she showed up to school tomorrow it wasn't as if she wouldn't get the clue rather easily. She would be nothing more than a worker bee. And he would be popular. She would befriend people like Mavis who were nice and might actually care about her. And she would most likely never speak to Perry again. That was the way of high school. "I'm Perry." He said simply, wanting her to know him as Perry before she would find out that his first name was Collin.
Wrapping an arm around her shoulders as if he were an old friend of her's or something he smiled down at her easily, "You should be warned, Alexis and Les. They are two people to stay away from. Mason, he may seem nice, but he'll rip you to shreds if you get too close. Just a little friendly warning there for you."
Rose stiffened at the contact. The most she had ever been touched was a handshake. She catalouged the names in her mind though. One man's trash is another man's treasure, she thought weakly. She moved away fro a moment to get her violin case and satchel from the tree she had been playing under, coming back over, glad for the excuse to move away from the boy. She turned to the girl, smiling a little."Thanks, The transfer was kind of a last second thing, I didn't even know it was happening until my parents pulled me out of boarding school," she said, absently playing with her necklace.
"Oh, okay," she said not sure what else to say. Mavis remembered when she moved to Salem High during her freshman year. Everyone that lived in the area already knew each other - because most of them practically grown up together around the neighborhood. Mavis was one of the many new kids at that time. The time she just cut her hair when she arrived. Possibly even Rose could be a friend, but she was afraid they wouldn't come as close. She promised herself that Taylor, and only Taylor would be her best friend. After Perry's kind gesture, she still seemed a bit pale, though the constant coughing ceased; she looked considerably normal.
"Um, I know this sounds weird, but do you know how to get to the school from here. I was following the GPS on my phone, but then I dropped my phone and it won't turn on, I was so lost I though tmaybe I would hang here for awhile, but I have to get their eventually," Rose asked, tucking her necklace back under her shirt, adjusting the black leather jacket she wore. She didn't really have the look of a girly-girl, she liked to be more edgy, but her parents wouldn't stand for that.
Perry looked between the two girls, and something seemed to click in his mind. Had one been looking at him carefully, and had one known him well enough they might've been able to see the gears in his mind at work. Of course, it was highly unlikely that either girl would be able to see that in depth into Perry's blue eyes and he merely smirked slightly to himself. Dropping his arms to his sides his hands slid into his pockets and he gave a brief nod to the two girls. "I hate to leave at such a social time, but I do have a prior engagement." Turning his head to look only at Mavis he smiled, a concerned hue to his eyes, "Take care of yourself. Don't want you getting worse instead of better." Smiling at her he gave her a wink before turning to Rose and nodding at the edgy, Brit, "Good luck in school." He said simply before turning and heading off, leaving Mavis with his jacket and Rose to find the school with either the help of Mavis or the use of a library computer.
"It's not far from here," Mavis answered and pointed towards the general direction of te school, telling her the directions. Mavis then turned to Perry and smiled, "Bye Perry," she said. Even though their time together was short, it was fun talking to someone when she ditched home. "Enjoy yourself," she added, then turned slightly pink waving frantically. No, worrying about her was the last thing she wanted him to do, "I'll be fine, I promise." Her green eyes watched his retreating figure, and called him for the jacket, but he already left. Frowning, the female removed the large article of clothing and folded it neatly. Turning back to Mavis her smmile returned, "The school isn't that hard to miss. The building is giant," she said. "I hope you have a nice first day," she wished, her kindness and sincerity dropping like heavy stones in a pond. With one last wave, Mavis walked out of the park to make her way home - though at a liesurely pace. She wasn't particularly excited about going back.
Rose smiled and thanked her, turning and jogging off, feeling bad for leaving her alone, but needing to get to school. She was so nervous, was the school really that big? Would she even have a chance of fitting in?
Walking into the park, Everett's eyes flicked over his surroundings. There were a few people there, but that was okay. No one was near 'his spot.' It wasn't really his, and he wasn't going to make a fuss if there was someone there, but really? He liked the shade of the big tree, and the way the roots had grown just so provided the perfect sort of bench for him to sit on. He dug blindly around in his bag for his sunglasses. Ah. Putting the hot-pink plastic sunnies on in a well-practiced motion, he sat down. He set his bag down, taking his guitar out of its case before strumming a few chords. He made a face before twisting one of the tuning pegs slightly. Another strum. No, more twisting. Another strum. Yes, that was right. He began to play, sort of humming along, not really singing. Maybe he would later. No one was really close enough to be bothered by it.
Pulling her hat down Dahlia heard the familiar tune over where she was practicing. Getting her baseball and putting everything in her sport's bag she walked over to the source of the music. "I knew it was you,"She murmured as she flipped her ponytails back. Sitting down next to Everett she stayed quiet, wanting to listen to his music. Putting her bag down she laid down and stretched her legs before putting her own sunglasses on.((Sprry for the crappy post))
((Nonsense!))
"I can't think of many other guitar-playing guys handsome as me in town, so you must be right," Everett said, teasing lightly. "But I wouldn't have it any other way." He paused for a moment, before resuming playing, this time actually singing along with the chord progression. "Hey, hey, hey, your lipstick stains on the front lobe of my left-side brain, I knew I wouldn't forget you, and so I went and let you blow my mind; your sweet moonbeam, the smell of you in every single dream I dream, I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided who's one of my kind... hey, sould sister, ain't that mister-mister on the radio, stereo, the way you move ain't fair you know, hey, soul sister, I don't wanna miss a single thing you do tonight..."

Dahlia smiled softly,"No I can't think of anyone else either," Laying her head head on his lap, she closed her eyes as she heard the music playing again. Everett was really talented and his music is so relaxing. Her eyes didn't open until had finished playing. "So how was you day? Anything interesting happen?" She asked curiously, looking up to look at him.
((Uh... you realize he'd probably, like, end up whacking her in the face if she put her head in his lap while he was playing guitar, right? xP))
"Not really interesting. Oh, I finished my AP Italian essay. And I went to that Chinese place for lunch. I heard back from a couple schools, but... I honestly don't know what's my first choice." Because I'm only planning on taking a few online courses, but that's okay. Nobody needs to know about my plan for lack of higher education. It was embarrassing, really, not having a plan for college. Sure, his dream had always been to sing and act. But he kind of wanted to actually go to college like a normal person, too. "Um," he hummed, pausing. "That's about it. Nothing particularly exciting. And how was your day, 'Lia?" he said, using the nickname for her fondly.

((Opps lol))"Everett!" Dahlia sat up and moved his guitar away as she tacked him down. Her hair casted a curtain around them as her ponytails fell around them. "I hate when you do that. Keeping stuff from me,"She of course knew his plans about the online courses. After a while she managed to get them out of him. "But my day was okay. However once again the guys were complaining about me being on the team again. There only angry because I'm taken,"She teased. "You think I'm good enough to be on the guy's team right?" Her eyes narrowed suspiciously yet she still leaned in for a kiss.
Everett smiled, giving her a gentle peck on the lips. He was a touchy-feely person; he craved physical contact - holding hands, hugs, pats on the back... but when it came to kissing? No. He'd never 'made out' with anyone before, and even with Dahlia most kisses were just a short peck. It wasn't for lack of physical attraction; he just felt that there were more important things in a relationship. "I'm not keeping anything from you, 'Lia. I did hear back from schools, and I don't know what my first choice is." It was true - he had heard back from schools, all of which were prestigious and well-known, but still... Everett smiled. "And if you don't believe me about the Italian essay, well, I think you might have a fever, dear. And of course you're good enough to be on the team. If you weren't, then you wouldn't be on it, simple as that," he said.
"I don't think you want to go to any of those colleges," Dahlia murmured softly. Unlike Everett's parents, Dahlia's parents didn't care where she went only that she was happy. She didn't mind the short peck, she wasn't much of someone who shows their feelings much. However she wanted more than a peck today and have him a soft kiss which lasted more than just a few seconds. Getting up and leaning her head on his shoulder she sighed. "Now that Everett is the smartest thing I've heard today,"Grinning she kissed his cheek.
"Glad to hear that, then," Everett said, reaching down to interlock their fingers together. "And you're wrong. If I could, I would go to all of those schools. But people have big dreams and little dreams; I can't go to them, because even though it's a dream of mine, that's a little dream, which means that I couldn't fulfill my big dream. We all have to make a sacrifice here and there to get what we want," he said lightly.
"I see,"Dahlia told him resting their interlaced hands on their laps. "Good thing you're the one with the good mind. After all I'm just the sporty rebellious girl. Some people say you are my tamer. do you think that's true?" She raised an eyebrow. People only say that because he was the only one who could calm her down when angry however she was only teasing him this time.
"Mmmm, I think that we both know if anyone wears the pants in this relationship, it's you, not me. Not that you should expect me to cross-dress anytime soon, because that's not happening," Everett teased lightly. "Although I'm aware that I have nice legs," he said, "I don't intend on showing them off in a skirt or dress anything, or a kilt, for that matter, so don't you worry about that."
"Well I have been told that you have great, long legs," Dahlia winked at him. "Maybe even better than mine." She stretched her legs and ran a hand over them up and down seductively as she burst into giggles. She loved being around Everett she was always more playful and relaxed around him. Otherwise she's always at practice or ditching with Mathew. "You know prom's coming up soon. We're going to be matchy matchy with my dress and your tie color. We'll be preppy,"She told him with a fake high pitched voice.
"Let me guess, Christine was the one who told you that?" Everett said, raising an eyebrow. That was exactly the kind of thing that his sister would tell his girlfriend. So very like Christie. "And hmm, matchy-matchy? Just my tie? I was thinking one of, like, those bright-colored tuxes with the ruffles on the lapels... is that a no-go, then?" he said, mocking disappointment. "Dang."
"Yes she did,"Dahlia told him laughing. "Mm no I'll shoot myself if you did." The tie and dress were already enough especially the flower and the corset was pushing it but it's tradition and she wanted to do it with him to. "Maybe next time,"She told him teasingly. "However we might be able to do it at a party if we shop at the sdame store,"She winked at him.
Everett sighed over-dramatically. "Fine then, no colored tux. However, you, Dahlia Swift, are not getting out of high heels nor are you getting out of the corsage, and I fully expect a boutonniere," he teased her. "And everybody color-coordinates, anyway. It's not like it's just a prom thing. Homecoming, winter formal... people do that. So even if you pick a hot pink prom dress, yes, I will wear a hot pink tie. So it's up to you to pick a good color. I'm counting on you here!"
"How come I can't wear sneakers?" Dahlia asked seriously even though she was kidding and only wanted to hear his reasoning and see his reaction. "Hmmm for color I was thinking a purple or a blue. What do you think?"She asked raising an eyebrow. "Or should we do another color." She had her prom dress picked out but her mom goes overboard and got a bunch more more.
"Because you want to be a proper young lady, don't you , now?" Everett teased her lightly, softly rubbing his thumb over the back of her hand. "Purple or blue works for me if you want. Like I said, I don't care - if you want to wear eye-searing, neon highlighter yellow, I'd find a tie that color to go with it, okay? But let's try to not permanently damage my corneas."
"Proper? My mom is proper enough for the both of us!" Dahlia teased. However it was true her mother while she was a very talented scout and new talent when she saw it was very lady like. Whenever it came to parties and such Dahlia was turned into a doll as her mother dressed her up as she deemed to fit. She let's her only because she knew her mom wanted a girly girl but unfortuanelty she loved sports.
"I'm pretty sure she lets us date because she thinks my irresistible dapper charm will be a good influence on you," Everett joked. When he was younger, his parents joked that he was doomed to end up as part of the Dapper Dan quartet on Main Street, USA in Disneyland. He glanced down at the watch on his left wrist. "Dang," he muttered. "I've got to go, 'Lia. But I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" he said, readjusting the hot pink sunnies perched on his nose. He leaned over, pressing his lips to Dahlia's forehead before grabbing his guitar and standing up.
Dahlis smiled,"That too. Against my dad's wishes of course,"She told him rolling her eyes. Her dad made it pretty clear to Everett and the rest of the family that he did not approve of the relationship. And if he was to ever hurt his Alex then he would have a pounding coming in. Yet everyone knew that Dahlia could take care of herself. "Alright,"She murmured as she leaned in and kissed him softly. Getting up she grabbed her bag and was on her way, turning only to wink at him.
Eric walked down one of the stone paths in the park. He was incredibly bored. Skipping school had seemed like a better use of his time, but wandering through the park wasn't much better than sitting in class. He checked his phone for what felt like the hundredth time. Alyssa was supposed to meet him here, but so far she hadn't shown up. Eric sighed and leaned against a nearby tree. He sent Alyssa a quick text saying, Where are you? before slipping his phone back into his pocket.
Walking along the path, Alyssa rolled her eyes even though no one was there to see it. It was a big park! It was easier for him to find her than vice versa, come on, she was a redhead for crying out loud! Uhm to tell you the truth, I'm not entirely sure. she texted back, looking around.
Are you in the park? Eric texted back. Admittedly, it was a large park, but it wasn't like he was hiding from her or something. He wasn't even moving for goodness sake. With a sigh, Eric started walking again, going over to the center of the park. Just meet me by the fountain. Even you can't miss it.
Making a face, Alyssa followed his directions without texting back. She didn't like using her phone anymore, even when she wasn't getting rude messages from Eric. Ever since her screen had gotten cracked, it didn't hold as much of her attention. She got irritated with it rather quickly when it messed up the commands because the touch screen censors were all off balanced.
"Didn't have to be so rude, you're lucky I skipped class to hang out with you in the first place." she smirked-her way of greeting him. Her eyes drifted over his figure, it was simply instinct since she hadn't seen him in a while. Why they hadn't hung out in so long, she wasn't sure... just like she had no idea why he suddenly wanted to hang out now. It had been what... a couple weeks? She wasn't sure. She felt like there might have been a reason they stopped talking though, she just couldn't remember what it was.
"Didn't have to be so rude, you're lucky I skipped class to hang out with you in the first place." she smirked-her way of greeting him. Her eyes drifted over his figure, it was simply instinct since she hadn't seen him in a while. Eric rolled his eyes, but couldn't help flashing her his crooked smile. "Yeah, like you had anything better to do," he said. He raised an eyebrow, noticing how her gaze lingered over him. "I know I'm stunningly attractive, but there's no need to stare," he teased. Wow, it really had been a while since they had talked. He'd missed their lighthearted jokes and sarcasm. Sometimes Ericfelt like Alyssa was more of a sister to him than Day was. It was sad to think about, but it was the truth. They'd known each other since they were kids. They picked on each other like siblings do, but they also fought like siblings sometimes, which was the reason they hadnt talked in so long. "So, now that you finally decided to show up, what do you want to do? I don't really care as long as we're back here by five. There's a concert that I happen to have tickets to. Don't worry, I didn't spend any money on you. I know a guy," he said with a smile and a shrug.
Alyssa stifled the urge to roll her eyes at his little comment, he could be so cocky sometimes... like she didn't have anything better to do? But hey, it's not like he didn't have the reasoning to. She wasn't denying he was attractive, she was; however, denying the fact that he wasn't particularly attracting Alyssa. They had always been besties from the beginning, nothing more, nothing less. Until their little fight, then it was less.
That's really all it should have been, a little fight. It was tiny and petty; not worth an entire argument over. But hey, that didn't stop them! They stopped talking over it. Alyssa could understand the principal of the fight... but not the reasoning to continue it--which is why she had showed up. "Oh, now you want to hang out with me?" she tested, raising a brow with only a hint of amusement.

Eric shook his head. "No, I just wanted to to skip class and get lost in the park. You can go now," he said with a smirk. He sighed. "Yes, I want to hang out with you. I've been completely lost without you there to make fun of everything I do. Really though, I can barely remember what we argued about two weeks ago. It was stupid and unreasonable, and it would be pretty pathetic to ruin our friendship over something like that. So how about we stop being pathetic and just hang out?" he suggested.
