Kalla smiled as they walked in. "This is so cute!"
"What do they have on the menu that's good? I'm starved." she said
"Pretty much everything is good here," Nick grinned, sliding into a booth.((Hey want to do something with Drake? Long story but the girl we were waiting on turned out to be a jerk and so I deleted her from the group :p))
((Ya sure, we continue to rp without the girl at the bridge??))"Good." she said smiling "I'm so glad this day is over." she said
((Sure...I deleted what we had there, so we can just start over :))"Ugh, me too," Nick said, slumping into his seat.
((Okayy!))"I am happy i met you though. Never thought i'd be this lucky to meet someone so nice on my first day." she said smiling at him
"Hey, I make a point of being nice to people," Nick smiled.
She smiled, "I like that, you make your point very well."
"Your welcome." she said with a small laugh
"So, where'd you move here from?" Nick asked a moment later.
((I have no idea where they're at now so let's just hope this sounds okay! Haha))"I moved here from Kansas." she said
((Uhh....they're somewhere lol idk either haha! I didn't put it Xp))"Tornado area, right?" Nick asked.
((Ahaa okay!!))"Ding ding ding we've got a winner." she said grinning
"Yay! Do I get a million bucks?" Nick grinned like an excited kid.
She laughed "Umm nope but you get the satisfaction of being right." she said smirking
"Darn, guess I'll have to settle for that then," Nick laughed, and then looked over at the menu board, "So what you in the mood for? I could go for a chocolate shake and a burger."
"I think i'll go for chocolate shake and a blueberry muffin." She said looking at the menu too. "I hear the shakes are awesome.
"Oh they are, believe me," Nick grinned, "They're amazing."
"Great." she said smiling. She just loved this moment, she didn't go out after school with her friends back in Kansas she would go home and study or just sit on the porch with her earbuds in.
Nick ordered their food, and then as the waitress left he looked over at Kalla."So what did you do back in Kansas," he said, and then added, "Besides school of course."
She looked up at Nick "I was sorta i book worm i stayed home mostly on my window sill or just on the porch with a book or i climbed trees." she said laughing a bit
"Hey, books are nothing to be ashamed of," Nick said with a grin, "I like reading...but I like boarding just a little more."
"Your good at it too." she said her mouth shaping into a toothy smile
"Thanks," Nick grinned with a little shrug, "I do it a lot so that's probably a big reason."
"So you'd be able to teach me?" she asked resting her elbows on the table
Nick tapped his chin thoughtfully, "I could," he finally said, "I got an extra board I can let you have, I don't use it anymore."
"Yaay!" she cheered doing a little dance in her seat.
"Would tomorrow after school be good?" Nick asked, pretending to take out a day-planner.
"Tomorrow after school sounds great." she said doing a cutsey thing with her shoulder.
"Be sure to wear some clothing you don't mind getting scraped up," Nick said, "First timers always fall."
"Noted, wear clothes that can be scraped up." she said with a mental note "Do skaterpeople have a different lingo should i learn skater terms? Or is that only in the movies?"
"Um, I really don't know," Nick laughed, "I talk like I do right now when I skate."
"I'll take that as a no then." she said gigglling
The food came at that moment, she was starved. "This looks amazing!"
"It tastes amazing," Nick said, taking a huge bite of his burger.
She ripped off a piece of her muffin "wow there really is blueberries in here!" She laughed more to herself "the old cafe had the muffin flavored like it but us never really find the blueberry
"Oh really?" Nick asked with a small laugh, "I wouldn't have gone to that place then."
"Me either but it was walking distance," she said with a smile and a small shrug as she tore off another piece and popped it in her mouth.
"Eh, I'd just have rather made my own then," Nick said, finishing up his burger and starting on his shake now.
"it would help if i knew how to bake!" she said laughing
((OMG soooo sorry! it wasnt in my notifications..:S))She took a big piece of her muffin, "Do you want a piece while it lasts?" she asked
((Skay lol I haven't been on for four days so...;p))"Nah, I've had a few before," Nick smiled.
"More for me." she said poping another piece in her mouth
Nick laughed as he stood up and took his trash to the bin.
"So what do you do after school usually?" She asked
