Summary
Hadley gets back to the hotel where the reception is and patches things up with her dad which includes a tearful account of the past 24 hours. She and Charlotte make nice and she has her father-daughter dance during the reception at which point her father tells her that there is no baby and Charlotte was only hoping. Hadley gets outside for some fresh air where she sees Oliver walking up to her holding the book she left behind. He accompanies her to the dance floor where he admits to her what he's been studying all along: The statistical probability of love at first sight. (daw!)

Discussion Questions

1. Do you believe in love at first sight?

2. Do you believe what Oliver and Hadley have is lover, or infatuation?

3. Can you see a sequel?

4. What did you think of the author's Hadley and Oliver's romance? Too underplayed? Or way over the top for a short time period?

Sarah (sarah_endipity) 1. YES! Belive it or not I have had this before. It was also at Disney World. It was magical. I don't even know his name or where he lives, but... I don't know. I didn't feel normal with him.

2.It's love. It has to be. They might be a little confused about it, but it's love.

3.No. I don't see a movie ether but it's going to happen anyway.

4.It was just right. It was cute.

Vikki 1.)no, I do not believe in love at first site. I do believe in "kismit" or a strong attraction. I personally believe (and this is just me) that you have to really talk to someone, get to know them to experience true love. It's a deep and meaningful thing that doesn't just appear like that.

2.) I think it's young love, it could grow into something deeper but why rush it. :)

3.) I think the author would be trying too hard with a sequel. I liked it the way it was.

4.) Haha! I love this question! Honestly I think it was a cute young love kind of story. In reality I would seriously have to think twice about someone I just met showing up at my father's funeral. Hahaha!

Hahaha! I would be so creeped out if someone I sat next to at the airport showed up at my dad's funeral. Even if I DID kiss him.

What kind of annoyed me about this story was that it played off that you can fall in love with someone by just their looks. Before you get to know someone, all you can take in about them is how they look. You don't know how they act for real. They could be putting on a show for you. You have to really get to know somebody. Love and infatuation are used so annoyingly interchangeably these days.

Kayla (kaylawrites89) 1. I honestly don't know if I believe in love at first sight. I used to, but now I'm not so sure. I was a starry eyed little girl who believed in it when I was younger, but I don't anymore. I believe it can happen for some people and that it has happened for some people.

2. I think it's infatuation, though infatuation can become love, so perhaps it's a bit of both.

3. I can, but I don't know if it would really work all that well. But I think maybe a sequel would close things up a bit more for this story.

4. I'm not all that sure...

Becky (rrrjtl) | 81 comments 1. I don't know if I necessarily believe in love at first sight, or if it's more of just being drawn to someone and the love happens naturally.

2. I agree with Kayla, maybe it is a bit of both. They know they have something special together, though, so why should they question it.

3. I can't really see a sequel to this. I think it would feel a bit too forced. This almost feels like one of those stories where you just let the "happily ever after" be the end.

4. I think actually it was was actually perfect the way they did it. Sometimes we meet those special people that we just connect with, on a different level that we ever have before. And when that happens, it can all happen VERY quickly.
