This section starts with Hadley waking up from a nap on the flight. When the plane lands, she and Oliver run through to customs where they get separated, but not before he plants a HUGE kiss on her!! After getting through customs she waits around for him but can't find him in the crowded airport so she leaves. She makes it to the church in record time and walks down the aisle just like she's supposed to but she can't stop thinking about Oliver the entire ceremony. Afterwards, she goes to meet her dad and new step'mum' but overhears that they are going to have a baby. This news distracts her during the wedding photos and meeting her dad's friends and wedding guests. One of the guests say that they have to leave for a funeral at 2 in Paddington but will be back for the reception. Hadley makes a connection that Paddington is where Oliver is and that the funeral is his fathers. She ditched the photos and runs all around London trying to find the right church. Once she does, she sees Oliver who isn't too happy to see her (although he does plant another large smootch) They leave on somewhat bitter terms after Hadley forces Oliver to talk about his father. On her way back to the wedding, she leaves the book her father gave her on a random car and walks away.

1. Do you think Oliver has an understanding of Hadley's feelings of her father? Or does he coin her as "overdramatic" because his situation is far worse?
2. Did you personally find Oliver and his father's situation predictable?
3. The author is a bit coy when discussing if Charlotte is going to have a baby. The book really only says "nine months" and Hadley interprets that to mean baby? Do you think there really is a baby or is it some sort of weird coincidence?
4. Do you think that girl at the funeral with Oliver was his girlfriend? If so, why do you think he cheated on her with Hadley?

1.I think he can relate to some of the things she has went through. He is really nice about it too.2.Yes. I have heard about these kind of things happening all the time.
3.I thought there was going to be a baby. It would be wierd to say that and there not be one.
4.It says she was his ex. They are still close though. She is more like a sister than anything.
1. I think he understands because his relationship with his own father is so strained, however I think his comment about her being "overdramatic" is because he knows it could be much worse.2. I actually did not expect any of what we find out about Oliver's situation with his father. I certainly wasn't expecting that Oliver was heading to his father's funeral.
3. I think there may very well be a baby, however I get the feeling that maybe Hadley's father doesn't know yet. I just have a hard time imagining that he WOULDN'T make that one of the first things he tells her.
4. I actually get the feeling that she is a sister, or maybe even a close friend of the family, but I don't get a girlfriend, or even ex-girlfriend vibe off of her.
