Haven't read Blackout, but I have read Doomsday book so I know about the whole time traveling historians from the future deal. Why is it so important to Polly that Mike can't find out about the fatalities at Padget (sp? I listen to the audio book)? Thanks in advance

Okay, nevermind. I finished All clear and the mysteries were resolved. In any case I'm going to start on Blackout now. Time travel books must be read anachronologically.
Polly was afraid the deaths at Padget were the retrieval team. Apparently Polly didn't want that to upset Mike. Although it didn't make any sense because if a retrieval team had died they would probably still send another retrieval team. I don't know why Polly hid so much from Mike and Eileen. I mean they were all grad students, about the same age with the same education they should have been able to handle news/speculation that things weren't going so well. These two books have some real problems once you stop and think.
