Adam scratched his head as he thought. "Well...I've pretty much lived in this town all my life, I don't travel much, I've been a paramedic for about five years, my favorite color's blue, I hate mushrooms, and I like to eat sushi." He chuckled again. "I told you I'm boring."

Aria smiled as he talked and she rolled her eyes. "You're not boring,Adam"she says rolling her eyes. "I hate mushrooms also,and my favorite color is blue as well"she says smiling slightly at the coincidence. "Except I don't like sushi,I like Chinese food"she says happily.
Adam shrugged. "There are always some hits and misses. Though sometimes the misses hurt me right here." He tapped his chest, feigning hurt. "Sushi is the love of my life. Chinese food is more of a mistress." He gasped. "But don't tell sushi I said that!"
Aria grinned when he said all of that. "Oh my gosh,be quiet"she says laughing genuinely. She ran a hand through her hair,still giggling. She watched him, "Oh okay. Fine. I promise I wont tell sushi,you said that"she says with a wink,rolling her eyes.
Adam feigned relief. "Phew! Thanks. My secret will live another day." He ruffled his hair. "Soo...Anything that you want to know about me? My IQ? My guilty-pleasure? My secret-celebrity crush?" He smirked.
Aria laughed "Hmm,tell me all of that"she decides smirking slightly. "Though I'm interested to find out your celebrity crush"she admits as she turned upwards so she was facing him. "A guilty pleasure? You don't look like one who has a guilty pleasure?"she says raising a brow as she tapped her chin.
Adam laughed as well. "Hmm...Let's see...My IQ is fairly average, so nothing very interesting there. But my celebrity crush is Whoopi Goldberg and my guilty pleasure is that I enjoy taking bubble baths every once in a while.
Aria rose a brow "Wow,I didn't say expect any of those things from you"she admits with a small smile. "My IQ is higher than average people. My celebrity crush is Max Irons,and my guilty pleasure is...hm,I don't really know"she admits,looking up at him with a dimpled grin.
Adam laughed. "I usually take people off-guard when they first get to know me. Then they tend to just get used to my crazy." He smiled. "To be honest, I'm a bit surprised by your celebrity crush; I would've figured you to be a Hugh Jackman kind of gal. Though that could also be because I don't know who Max Irons is."
Aria laughed then gasped nearly falling off the bed. "You. Don't. Know. Who. Max. Irons . Is"she asked,gaping. "Oh my gosh,I am so going to show you the movie, Red Riding Hood' "she decides with a laugh. "You don't look crazy to me,but I'm sure I'll get used to it"she says smiling.
Adam laughed. "So does that mean that we'll meet up outside of the hospital?" He grinned.
Aria bit her lip and smiled as she watched him. "Of course"she decides happily,sitting up in the hospital bed. "We are friends now whether you like it or not"she says tapping his nose. "You are stuck with me"she jokes laughing happily as she ran a hand through her hair. "By the way,Thanks for everything. You know,it's like your the only person I can trust here in the hospital,the only good paramedic"she adds.
Adam laughed at her display. "Thank goodness. I was worried that I was reading the mood wrong." His eyes turned slightly sad at her last statement. "Don't worry about it; I'm glad to help. I've seen a lot here at the hospital, and I've also been in a slightly similar situation as you." He smiled softly. "And I'm not the only good paramedic; there are several of us. The others are just shy." He grinned again.
Aria froze "You've been in a situation like this?"she asked quietly as she pulled the covers of the bed up to her chin. "if I may ask.. W-what happened?"she asked as she peeked at him ,as she was now laying on the bed.
Adam rubbed the back of his head. "Umm...W-well, uh...Three years ago, my fiance and brother got into a terrible car accident. My brother suffered from a head injury much like your husband." He nodded his head at Jackson. "He lost his memory of the past two years. It took a while- about a year-before he finally regained his memory. So there /is/ hope. You just have to be patient."
Aria paid attention as he talked. "A-And your fiancée?"she asked softly watching him sympathetically as she turned her gaze to Jackson. Just being happy that he was alive.
Adam swallowed hard. "U-um...Sh-she...wasn't so lucky..." He looked down at his hands. "She didn't even...make it to the hospital..."
Aria's eyes widened and she hopped off the bed leaning down to pull him into her warm soothing arms. "I'm so sorry,Adam. You should have told me,I'm here complaining to you,when that has happened to you as well"she whispered as she hugged him close.
Adam was slightly surprised, but grateful. He hugged her back. "Thanks, but it happened three years ago. Your car accident happened only recently. I'm not complaining about your complaining." He gave a small smile.
Aria returned the tiny smile,her dimples popping out. "Just because it happened three years ago,doesn't mean it hurts any less"she pointed out as she ran a hand through her hair. "Im sorry,Adam. Really"she says softly ,looking into his eyes.
Adam sighed softly. "You're right. Thanks." He suddenly stood up. "You should get some rest. You've been through a lot."
Aria nodded,her eyes suddenly drooping. She climbed into her bed,sleepily. "Goodnight,Adam"she whispered as she brought the covers around herself and looked up at him with a tired smile. She could feel herself started to drift off to sleep.
Adam smiled gently. "Night, Aria. I'll see you tomorrow." He left.Screeching metal. Screams. Blood. Icy-hot pain. That's all Jackson was aware of. There was a single thought running through his head over and over, but he couldn't quite remember what it was. It was important, to. So very, very important...
Jackson gasped, jolting awake. It took him a moment to remember he was in the hospital. He looked over to see Aria sleeping in the bed next to him. His stomach rummbled, and he looked over at the omelet and coffee. They were probably cold by now, but he didn't care; he was too hungry. He reached over with his good hand and grabbed the omelet, placing it on his lap. He tried eating it with one hand, but it was harder than he thought it would be.
Aria sat up in bed quickly,eyes wide when she heard someone gasp. She turned them sighed seeing it was just Jackson. She watched him have trouble eating. She quickly stood up running a hand through her hair. "I'll help you sweetie,don't worry"she murmurs softly as she pulled up a chair next to him and cut the omelet into pieces for him and picked it up with the fork before looking up at him.
Jackson looked at her warily. "Um...T-thank you...I can take over from here now..." he said softly. He didn't want to hurt her feelings, but he just felt weird about someone-even if she /was/ supposed to be his wife-feeding him. He tentavily reached for the fork.
That's when Aria remembered he didn't even remember her. She dropped the fork onto the plate. As she stood up in frustration and sadness. She paced slightly as she picked up her book and started reading,just to calm herself down. She didn't even know if Jackson was ever going to remember her! It was just sad as she bit down on her lip so hard blood surface.
Jackson watched Aria with growing concern. "..." He looked down at his plate, suddenly losing his appetite. "I'm sorry..." he whispered quietly.
Aria looked over at him,now completely feeling bad. She wiped her lip and gave a tiny smile "I-I'm fine,don't worry about it"she says,though it didn't hold her usual cheerfulness.
Jackson looked up at her sadly. "How could I not?" he said quietly, putting his plate back onto the table. He tried sitting up. "I can't...remember anything. And I can tell just by looking at you...I'm not the only one this affecting negatively..." He looked at Aria, brows furrowed in concern. "And I don't even know how to make this better..." His shoulders slumped in defeat.
Aria took a seat next to him and was about to take his hand before slowly pulling away. It would probably freak him out. She bit down on her lip,as she watched him "It's not your fault,Jackson. There's no way to fix it,so don't beat yourself up about it"she says as she looked into his eyes for a second.
Jackson sighed. "I know; you're right. I can't help feeling responsible, though." He looked at Aria warily. "Even though I can't remember, /I/ was the driver, wasn't I? I should've been more careful." He put his face in his hand. "Not only did I get myself hurt, I got you hurt as well..."
Aria quickly shook her head "Please don't think like that Jackson"she whispered ,watching him. "The car appeared in front of us as if out of nowhere,there was no way you could have seen it"she explains gently as she looked down,her hair falling in front of her face.
Jackson sighed and looked up, eyes full of concern and worry. After a moment, he said, "So...What are we going to do about...This?" He gestured at himself with his good hand.
Aria started chewing on her lip again,like she did when she was nervous. "I'll show you some pictures from our album and you tell me if they look familiar or if you feel a particular feeling...okay?"she asked before hesitantly getting an album from under the bed.
He blinked in surprise. "Where the hell did that come from? Is there a magical portal under there or something." he said, his voice holding a teasing edge.
Aria could feel her heart surge when she heard the teasing edge in his voice. She gave a slight grin,rolling her eyes in a playful way. "Oh, no I just turned into a magician this morning"she says ,as if it was very normal. She finally giggled,looking up at him.
He smiled softly, relieved that Aria didn't look as sad. "As far as I'm concerned, you could've been a magician the entire time."
Aria looked up at him with a reassuring smile "Don't worry,I just turned into a magician in the morning"she says with a wink. She put the album in front of him. "Here's us at our wedding..."she said quietly flipping through some pictures of them at a sunny beach.
Jackson blinked in surprise at the pictures. "We married on...a beach?" He had always wanted to have his wedding on the beach; he loved the ocean.
Aria smiled slightly, "Yeah,you wanted to get married on the beach,and I loved that idea."she says softly as she leaned against his bed,peering down at the photos. "It was amazing"she murmurs softly ,biting down on her bottom lip.
Jackson's expression turned slightly sad. "I'm sorry I can't remember it, then..." He looked at the glossy pictures; all of them showed Jackson in a gray tuxedo and Aria in a white wedding dress. They were both smiling brightly in the pictures.
Aria gave a wary smile ,"Don't stress out,that's what pictures are for"she explains as she turned to a picture of both of them in the ocean,they were splashing each other,and they looked madly in love.
Jackson swallowed hard and looked away. He couldn't believe it; all of the memories, all the good times he apparently had shared with Aria...All gone. What if they were gone for good? He bit his bottom lip hard, deep in thought.
Aria was still looking at the photo before gazing back up at Jackson. She rose a brow "Jackson,are you alright?"she asked softly. "Maybe pictures were a bad idea"she muttered grabbing the album.
Jackson shook his head sharply. "No, i-it's just..." He looked up at Aria. "We look...so happy together..." He dropped his gaze, looking at his wedding ring.
Aria nodded,cringing as she left the album where it was. "I know...we were"she says softly. "We met and soon,we had quickly fallen in love"she says as she remembered through the years,but knowing he couldn't.
Jackson glanced at Aria again. "We /were/, huh?" He set his mouth in a determined line. "We're going to have to fix that, won't we?"
Aria looked up at him in surprise. That hard determined look on his face brought back many memories. She sniffled and smiled,this time her dimples popping out, looking at him. "Yes we are going to change that."she says determinedly as she took his hand.
Jackson automatically closed his hand around Aria's. He smiled slightly; he may not remember doing this with Aria on occassion, but his body did. It felt right, though still a little bit odd.
Aria felt a small seed of hope start in her,when he closed his hand around hers. She smiled up at him. "Do you want to keep looking at the pictures then?"she asked softly as she lifted the album and put it on her knees.
