To visit over the weekend: Local festival with all kinds of goodies and crafts to purchase or a weekend trip to a theme park?

message 106: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments I would say both but since I had my neck operation I cannot go on the really good wild rides anymore. So if I have enough money I would say going to the fair and buying my bleeding heart out!!!

message 107: by [deleted user] (new)

message 108: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments hello Clara! hope to see more of you in the threads! =)

message 109: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments It's ok Clara. We don't discriminate over how many or how few SK books you read here. As long as you are into SK this is the place for ya. No need to post and run. So please come back around when you can.

I'd go for the love novel as well, although cozy mysteries are starting to grow on me.

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm a big fan of doctor who btw. i can't even begin to describe how much i live this show. Ten is my doctor; my favorite incarnation. did you start with the first ep in 2005 or just this series (series7)?

message 113: by [deleted user] (new)

hahahaha the first one ever. never seen it before

message 114: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (last edited Apr 28, 2013 01:11PM) (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Yep, definitely for DH for Dark-Hunter. Have been hearing a lot about the good Dr. from friends and via Valerie and Arianne. I've only ever seen one partial episode of Dr. Who, not too bad of a show.

Real name is Cherale if you prefer to use that instead Clara. I'm fine with either one.

message 115: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Hi Clara, hello rest of you... hahahhahaha, I like some Dr. Who shows when nothing else is on hubby and I are watching it together. I am not a fan but I am aware of it and most of the Doctors of previous time lines. Love to visit and use a T.A.R.D.I.S. though...

back to the game though... I like both but I would go for fiction and in this case chick lit if it is not someone I really want to read about (like Henry VIII).

I really like your answers Clara, just could you then post your own question so that the ball keeps rolling?

internet business or going to stores and talk to actual people (buying clothes, banking, books... etc)

message 116: by Valerie (new)

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments Clara - there is a Doctor Who group here on Goodreads if you want to have some Doctor fun.

As for the question...Depends on what i am looking for. In some cases, internet works fine (and is the only way to find certain things). Clothes has to be in the actual store. Usually look online before i go to a store to check prices.

Have to watch a show as it airs, or DVR/online at any time later?

message 117: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments watch it online/download the torrent. most shows I like aren't available in local tv and we haven't got cable.

To forgive someone for a heinous action against you or to be forgiven for a misunderstanding?

message 150: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments to forgive, that is a greater feat as it is not as easy as it sometimes looks.
although the feeling when the chain around your heart bursts after you've done something stupid, worried yourself shitless over it and are forgiven is priceless...

(Erik and Bill are both vampires out of the sookieverse - I loved Bill Compton, I have a soft spot for first loves)
