Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Celebrating my bday (which happens to be a month before Christmas, so can use gift cards along with Christmas gift cards to get more books or something else I want. :D)

message 52: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments either or?

message 53: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Dip a celebrity hunk of your choosing in chocolate or dip a dark, were, dream, demon, etc. character brought to life in chocolate?

message 54: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments This is sooo hard. alright, alright. I can do this. Hm
ok ok Savitar slathered in chocolate on a surfboard. Thats my final answer :-P

Being a hand maiden to Artemis or training Nick to be the Malachai

message 55: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments train Nick. at least i'd be able to train him to do some good for humanity. why would anybody want to be a handmaiden to artemis?

snuggling with a hot cup of drink on a rainy day or soaking under the sun on a summer day

message 56: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments snuggling with a hot cup of drink on a rainy day

I get burned too quickly and therefore try to avoid to much sun exposure and since I moved down under I get just too much of it. Nothing better than a rainy day with a cuppa and a good book in bed and listen to the rain drops on the roof.

trying a new author or sticking to the well known but plenty writers

message 57: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Try new author (at my own pace too)

Get a private performance of Ash on his guitar or play chess with Stryker and learn his next moves in future books?

message 58: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments get a private performance from Ash! i've never had anybody sing me a song but it really is a fantasy of mine.

be a nanny to any of the DH babies (bob, trace, nj, etc) or bus tables at the sanctuary

message 59: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Being a nanny to the kids. I was a waitress once, it was not fun for me. Not even for those delectable weres would I subject myself to that line of work again. :-(

Being the Harbinger of Destruction (Ash) or the ultimate weapon that will eventually be consumed by evil (Nick)

message 60: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Going with the Harbinger. As it seems like in Ash's case he has more flexibility in choosing his destiny. Nick just seems fated to be swallowed up by the evil. Even if he changes the past several times over. Fingers still crossed for him though.

Having the mother of the Harbinger or Julian's Mother(goddess of love on crack, lol)?

message 61: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments that's a toughy... can I say neither? :)

mother of the Harbinger I guess, she could be fun if she ever had the chance to be with her son without repercussions (end of the world and such).

being a DH (going through a pretty shitty human life and being betrayed by people you love, getting tortured and killed to end up in Arties service/army) or being born apollite

message 62: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments DH. toughest metals are forged in the hottest fires right? i'd hate to die a painful death on my 27th birthday (which is literally a couple of weeks from now) and i don't think i like the idea of sucking people's soul evil or otherwise.

born in medieval england or ancient greece?

message 63: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments hahahaha that's funny I would be classified daimon as I passed my 27th long ago and still am alive and more or less kicking...

medieval England (although I doubt that I would have survived my first year, lol)

message 64: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments lol Manuela. either/or?

message 65: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments sorry, must have been late last night

therefore: getting up early to continue reading your book or staying up late to finish it?

message 66: by Louise (new)

Louise Both lol I've done it before =D although it got me a headache after I was so happy finishing the book and also got me drowsy the next day, not good at all:(

Reading new books or rereading fav ones.

message 67: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Both Louise, no question about that. Just got another one from the libary and I just had it a couple of months ago. LOL

I have even an re-read shelf here now, just to get an idea which books I keep re-reading.

bath or shower? (I love baths but it is a damn time issue)

message 68: by Aarati (new)

Aarati | 145 comments I'd say both. Its always a pleasure re-reading favourites, but new books bring new favourites. :)

message 69: by Louise (new)

Louise Manuela wrote: "Both Louise, no question about that. Just got another one from the libary and I just had it a couple of months ago. LOL

@Aarati, either/or??:]

message 70: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Guess I will reset this one.

Mountain Retreat with pre-paid spa privileges and fun relaxing new activities you never tried but wanted to. Or Being on a cruise ship with all your favorite foods and your favorite hobbies that you've done plenty of times before.

message 71: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments MOuntain Retreat anytime preferable in Canada at Lake Louise ;)

can I re question mine?

bath or shower? (I love baths but it is a damn time issue)

message 72: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments I live in a tropical country and baths aren't very common. I like showers because they're very refreshing especially during the summer.

cereals or pancakes for breakfast

message 73: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Sure Manuela and will say take showers as bathes do take a long time.

And also cereal for breakfast although I do love pancakes when I have time.

Situation: Your house is on fire and you only have seconds to grab a prized possession.

Grab your ereader with all your fave series on it or you grab family heirloom passed down from generation to generation

message 74: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments neither nor, would grab my purse with my ID and my passport (if it wasn't expired) hahahaha

or

both (if I had lent my laptop to someone all I needed to do is get a new ereader) and with the family heirloom *snort*, is it valuable?

romantic wedding in a castle or fast lane in Las Vegas chapel?

message 75: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments Castle! I've always had this dream of marrying in a castle in the highlands with bagpipes playing.

learning to play a new instrument or learning a new sport?

message 76: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Totally learning to play a new instrument. I already have a bit of a knack for it when I used to be in the high school band. So I can read notes pretty well. But with all sports I'm hyper uncoordinated.

Honeymooning in the outback of Australia or Skiing in Aspen?

message 77: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Honeymooning in the outback of Australia, it is almost back yard for me, lol
I love snow but I can't ski and Aspen wouldn't be the place to go. Canada might have a few spots where I would try to learn with the right guy to teach. *wink, wink*

ooompa music at the octoberfest (anywhere in the world) or opera in the metropolitan

message 78: by vulpecula (new)

vulpecula opera is way too much sophisticated for me, plus, I'll embarrass my self by sleeping. Lets get lost listening to music with the crowed!

exploring a haunted house at the middle of the night or entering a graveyard at the middle of the night?

message 79: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Very tough choice as I don't like either option really. But I guess I will brave the haunted house. Graveyards freak me out too much.

Situation: On vacation. Where do you like to get your breakfast from the day after you arrive?

Continental Breakfast provided by a hotel you are staying at or Finding a local hot spot and trying out the special of the day?

message 80: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments The day after I'm most likely eating in the hotel cause I'll most likely be too lazy to venture out and people always befriend me in lobbies or dining areas at hotels. More traveling buddies to check out the hotspots.

Laser Tag or Paint Balling

message 81: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Laser tag. I've heard paint balling truly hurts given the speed of those balls flying, lol.

Kick boxing or Mixed Martial Arts?

message 82: by vulpecula (new)

vulpecula I'm not sports person, but......if forced I'll learn Mixed martial arts.
who knows which art I might need in the future? The more the better, right?

bungee jump or river rafting?

message 83: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments I did wild water rafting in Turkey and loved it. Can't jump, have spinal issues. Rafting all the way.

cut flowers or a plant in a pot as present (both from the guy you have a crush on). Which one would get him more brownie points with you?

message 84: by Arianne (last edited Mar 29, 2013 07:56AM) (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments plant in a pot. cut flowers dry up and wither. potted plants will last longer.

greek or roman version of the gods?

message 85: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Although they shared some of the same Gods just with different names. I still have to say I'm backing the Greek ones. Got to love all those stories of pettiness and mischief from them.

In relation to the new Lays Potato chips that are coming out which ones would you want to make the actual shelf?

message 86: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Bowling or miniature golf?

message 87: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Bowling!!! I suck at mini golf although it is fun.

In regards to being involved with watching or doing:

Dancing with the stars or Performing in your own dancing group?

message 88: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments watching is too easy, I'd like to try. So dancing in a performance group would be the goal.

message 89: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments mcdonalds. i still haven't tried eating a big mac by myself.

travelling through the saharan desert or exploring antartica

message 90: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Think I will go with Antarctica. Something about he whole mirage and mind playing tricks on you thing has never enthused me before dying. Not to mention all that heat too.

Modern Fairy Tales or Classic Grim's Fairy Tales?

message 91: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments What are modern fairy tales?
I thought it is all Grimm and HC Anderson only retold?

I grew up with Grimm so yeah little Red Riding Hood it is in all its variations and adaptations.

dark chocolate or white chocolate?

message 92: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Modern as in the movie of Hansel and Gretel where they are grown up and hunting witches vs. shoving one into the fire. Or even the movie of red riding hood actually being the wolf in the end. Or for that matter like Once upon a time where the fairy tale characters are brought into the modern world.

And the Grim version is more of the fablesque version of things. Kind of learning story of sorts too.

And definitely white chocolate

candy apple or caramel apple?

message 93: by Robbie (new)

Robbie Thornton (buttonbrite) | 36 comments Caramel apple since caramel is my second favorite sinful treat after chocolate. I'd probably just lick it off and toss the apple though.

Canoe down a river or take an old fashioned steam boat?

message 94: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments steam boat

oha, then I like both, the new and the old Grimm stories.
I had thought more like disney's versions are modern, as they almost always have HEA.

three meals a day or a lot of snacking and grazing throughout the day?

message 95: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments 3 meals. small frequent meals are healthier than three full meals. snacking is a different story though.

scents:lavender or chamomile?

message 96: by Valerie (new)

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments Chamomile..Lavender is nice but tends to be too strong. And i know strong lavendar is an allergy trigger.

Road Trip or fly to your destination?

message 97: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Road Trip, heights and flying scare the crap out me

Running a 50k marathon or doing an all day triathlon

message 98: by Arianne (new)

Arianne (biatchwithwifi) | 127 comments If I had the athletic ability to do sports i'd pick triathlon. i might find running for long periods really boring.

corn flakes or cocoa puffs

message 99: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments cocoa puffs so I can drink that chocolate milk afterwards

When it comes to games do you prefer board games or video games?

message 100: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Love both. But these days definitely video.
