Dhfan4life | 10411 comments In this thread, posters will play a game called either/or. Just like in the last thread one person will start of by posting a either/or situation and the person below them has to respond by which option they would do/prefer experiencing. Only rule is, you can't say that you wouldn't do either option. So gotta commit to something. ;)

Ex:

Person A- Either sleep in an igloo in Antartica or live in a tribe at the base of an active volcano?

Person B- Not feeling the cold. So I'll take the tribe at the base of the volcano. Boxers or Briefs?

And so on and so forth. The situations or things to experience don't have to be super sexy, serious, or really silly. Just be careful what you post. This is a public group open to everyone. And we might have some younger members here as well.

manicures or pedicures?

message 14: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments pedicures. I hate for the saloon ppl to touch my finger nails. they're already naturally long and healthy so I'd rather do the pedicures. my toes have to be pretty for beaches. :-)

Buffy The Vampire Slayer or Angel

message 15: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Angel all the way. Totally had a crush on David Boreanez back in the day.

In regards to be more tempting to visit if it were a real place. Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory or Katy Perry's California Girls music video

German Chocolate cake or Chocolate Lava cake

message 18: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments I love me some German chocolate cake. The only cake I'll eat with my fingers cause the icing is too good for a fork.

Peach cobbler or strawberry cheesecake

message 19: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Tough choice to make as I love my mom's deconstructed peach cobbler where she uses cut up biscuits in with the peaches and cinnamon and sugar mix and cooked up. Really awesome. I also love Cheesecake but with cherries on top.

So will say the Peach Cobbler.

watching TV or going to the movies?

message 24: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh cool. How did you like California Manuela? I have always wanted to visit but so expensive.

These days it is definitely the tv option. Movies cost too much for my broke butt.

Dinner Party or House Party?

message 25: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments What's the difference? I loved California and visited later again a few times as long as I could afford it (I really did get along with my second host family, we are still in contact). I don't want to live in America though, I love Australia - I found my home here (I am German).

message 26: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Dinner party-(probably not the most exact definition, but as I've seen it on tv, :P) guests are invited over for dinner and there are usually different topics of interest discussed at the table as everyone eats and shares their ideas. Can also bring the host or hostess a gift in honor of the party.

A house party is pretty much like a regular party as in, someone invites you over. You don't usually bring the host or hostess a gift and just come in and walk around and mingle with other people. Do some dancing and hit up the chips and punch. But it is a much more festive than relaxed affair than the dinner party as your always up doing something or other and with the dinner party it's more central to the meal and topics or table games presented.

That's cool. I've always wanted to go to Cali and even Ireland. But I don't think most foods would agree with my stomach too much if I ever was an exchange student, lol. But still really cool you got a sampling of a different country at a early age and even found another to live in as well. I've only ever been to Canada for out of the country trips. Be great to try other places. Heck even other states.

message 27: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments house party. Dinner party implies dressing up and I hate dressing up.

Doing karaoke with your crush and singing horribly or taking pole dance classes and falling on your face

message 28: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments doing karaoke, I do that already in the car and the shower and the crush if it ever develops into something more would have to know what is hitting his ear drums, hahahaha.
(I can't do pull ups if my life depended on it so I am no candidate for the pole.)

Thanks for the explaining Dhfan. I have been to quite a lot of countries before I settled in Australia - the English knew why they send the convicts here, I haven't been off this island since I came here. I was in Northern Ireland (I lost some weight there because of the English food), I went to Turkey on holidays and to the Maldives. I have visited my hostfamily in California for a few more times and before I moved to Adelaide I saw a bit more of Australia in previous visits. Canada and Scotland are on my bucket list.

an easy one: Coke or Pepsi? (I am Coke)

message 29: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments That is really awesome Manuela. A true woman of the world you are. :)

message 33: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments I would love to go on a train. The Ghan here in Australia from Adelaide to Darwin, and the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada, yay. Flying got a bit boring after the novelty wore off.

Getting to know someone before falling in love or love at first sight?

message 35: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Getting to know someone before falling in love. That love at first sight doesnt work for me in real life. To be honest it would creep me out

Traveling the world or visiting another planet

message 36: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Haha, really? I always thought love at first sight couldn't really exist. As the only thing the other person could love is physical features unless they are going around stalking someone. Then at that point I would agree, hella creepy.

Traveling the world. John Gleen annoys the crap out of me.

Kardashians or Real Housewives reality shows

message 37: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments lol thats what I'm saying. How do you love someone just met? For me it doesnt exist but I actually had a friend who was like that. Go on a date or two with a guy and swear he was the one for her. Friggin crazy... and creepy.

uuuh Real Housewives.

Short haircut or long, wavy hair

message 38: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Ah, yea now that is kind of crazy. And don't you just love how people say "you just know". But me thinks not when you only have a few dates or seen someone across a crowded coffee shop or something.

Drats no option for medium length? K, will take short (as is the current length now).

Hair extensions or hair clip ons (like bangs)

message 39: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments lol and when they say it, theres always that slight crazed look in their eyes.

Hair extensions! The safest way to color your hair without dying it. I love doing the little peekaboo colors with my hair

which do find more satisfying completing a Sudoku puzzle or beating a challenging video game

message 40: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Haha so true.

Nice, I've been advised to try some extensions out to try out blue streaks. I just might. Should be interesting.

Definitely beating a challenging video game. Sudoku is So annoying.

Dr. Oz or The Doctors TV show?

tattoos or piercings?

message 47: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Will take football a la soccer for 100 and really tough on the tats and piercings as either one can be so bad looking(in my opinion) when they are over done. But I think I would go for tats.

Red Carpet Makeover (for free) or a brief 20 minute meeting with the employer of your dream job?

message 48: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments At this point with things I'd take the dream job option. Can always get a makeover later on. :P
