He smiled noticing her look at him while his eyes were on the road. "Were almost there." He said nodding towards the road ahead.

"I know. I walk to the store, usually when I'm home alone." West said, though it was unsafe to do so in the rough part of town where her house was at. Her blue eyes stared out the window quietly.
After a few minuets ash pulled into the store's car park and brought the car to a stop in one of the spaces. "Lets go." He said smiling softly, undoing his seatbelt then opening the door and slipping out. He walked around to her side, opening the door for her.
She blushe at his kindness, but soon it faded. West exited the car, eyes on the store front. "Thanks, Ash."
"my pleasure" He said and locked the car before walking towards the store with West close behind him.
She sighed as she pushed open the door, only to be greeted by an old man behind the counter. He had always bothered her in a playful way. "Hello, Mr. Jenkins." She nodded The old man only grinned and pointed to Ash. "This your boyfriend?"
"N-No!" Came a loud cry from her lips, her face a bright red as she clinched her fists in a manner that screamed that she was emarassed by the assumption.
Ash laughed and wrapped an arm around her and smiled softly at her. "You don't mean that West, she's so cute when she's embarrassed" He said pretending to be her boyfriend for her benefit.
West was an even deeper red as she stood, not sure of what actions she would take or what she could say. Mr.Jenkins took that. "You are her boyfriend? Well, all power to ya. She's gonna be a hard girl to crack. She loves apple, by the way. When it's... 'that time', if ya get what in saying boy." The old man nodded then grinned bigger behind his push-broom mustache. "And she'll be a fun one, I bet." The man gave a wink. West looked so red, like she was going to pass out on the floor right there.
Ash chuckled and grinned down at west. "She can be a handful, but I think I'll be able to handle her." He said winking at him jokingly.
Massive was dead silent as the men chatted then the old man waved them off. Poor Maddie walked into the baking goods aisle. "So, you're my boyfriend now?" She raised a brow at Ash.
He laughed, looking down at her. "I was thinking we could be friends first." He said winking jokingly. He smiled and pointed to what they were looking for.
Maddie nodded with a slight smirk. "Did you understand any of what that old man said?" She asked, standing on her tip-toes.
He smirked chuckling a little. "Oh yes, every single word of it."
She jumped finally to grab the box of muffin mix. "Then you know that last line was about sex, right?" She gave a arched brow and a smirk, waiting to see Ash's face act like it would light up.
Ash smirked back, raising his eyebrows. “Oh I know.” He said chuckling when she didn't get the reaction she waited for.
West shook her head. "Come on. Lets go get some eggs. The girls ran out at breakfast this morning."
“Ok.” Forks replied, following her down through the dairy isle.
West grabbed a carton if eggs. She was enjoying this shopping trip, seeing as they were a bit playful right now. "So, Ash, what do you like to do?"
Ash thought for a moment, looking idly at the milk cartons as he thought. “I like to watch films, play a few video games ever now and then, practace and play on my electric guitar, surprizingly I like to fish too but I only go fishing as a random thing with East and Ray in the summer.” He said, smilng down at her
"Cool. I like to fish, too." She smiled softly and walked with him to the frot, her smile dropping as she laid the couple things on the counter. Mr.Jenkins grinned at Ash."Ain't you going to give your girl a kiss? I haven't seen you kiss her the whole time in here."
Fork's smile dissapeared into a look of embarrassment. His eyes widened slightly. “Yeah, erm, o-of corse.” He said his voice a tiny but unsure. He looked down at West and smiled apologeticly.
She gave a shrug, knowing this question was going to come up. She waited for the kiss as the man smirked behind the counter.
Ash smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her against him before bringing his lips down upon hers, making it a convincing kiss to look like they'd kissed countless times before.
West went a deep red and gave a shy kiss back. Her blue eyes were closed as her hands rested on his strong arms. Her heart pattered wildly within her chest cavity. As if a persistent bird trying to fly against it's own cage. The old man blinked a bit.
Ash pulled away, not really wanting to end the kiss and smiled crookedly at her, acting as if it wasn't just a first kiss, it was a very convincing act.
Maddie could only blush. Her blue eyes slowly opened and looked up at him. Her fingers still danced on his skin as she looked up at him. Her eyes had a glaze of confusion and something different.
Ash smiled down at her, somewhat apologetic them smiled at Mr.Jenkins who was staring at them a little wide eyed. "She may be hard to handle sometimes but I don;t know what I'd do without her." He said sighing happily and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. He put the eggs on the counter with his other hand as if they were just a "couple" that had been with eachother for months rather then just friends for a few hours.
Maddie blushed and paid the money.
Slowly, they walked to the car. West's face was still a deep red. Her lips were still feeling his on her own.
Ash turned on the car still feeling a little uneasy and awkward about pretending to be her boyfriend and kissing her. He drove out of the car park and down the road, both of them in silence. After a few minuets Ash decided to break the silence and say to say something. "Erm, Maddie....I'm sorry about that. I really am...haha..." He said laughing quietly and nervously at the end of his sentence.
"No. No. I liked it. It's fine." She gave him a smile. "If you don't want them to know, then I won't tell them." West said, referring to her house mates and his friends.

"Ok, what they don't know wont hurt them." He said smiling, a little less awkward now.
"You know, that old man will ask us when he see's one of out. " Maddie said softly and stared out the window at the rain. He'll most likely gossip around town about it. Though she didn't let that thought have life with words.
Ash chuckled softly, his eyes on the road. "I might have guessed." He said happily. "I don't mind people thinking we're a couple, as long as we know that we're only friends that's all that matters right?" He said glancing at her and smiling before looking back to the road again.
"I agree, but they'll be asking us to kiss to prove it, and I don't want to make a liar out of you or the old man." She said softly with a blush. "But, what if it turns into more than that between us? What if we start thinking we are boyfriend and girlfriend? Then what? Do we become the couple people thought have been dating for a while or do we become something a bit different than that couple?"
Ash thought about it for a few minuets. "I don't know...If we develop the same feelings for each other then I say we should become a couple - only if the other wants it though. I honestly haven't thought about having people ask for us to kiss that much...I like you even though we've only been friend for a few hours, I really like you...Only as a friend though, but who knows..." He said honestly, frowning in thought. "Were nearly here." He said looking ahead of the road.
"Staying for dinner?" She asked him, looking at him now.
Ash nodded smiling widely still looking at the road. "Sleepover." He replied happily.
"Sleepover..." She sighed with a blush. "I'll have to wear pants in my room."
Ash chuckled and replied. "I guess I'll have to wear a shirt to bed." He said smirking at the road as Maddie's shared apartment came into view.
"Pants are annoying." She sighed then pointed a finger at him. "Don't tell them about my comments over pants."
Ash laughed pulling into the drive. "No, no I won't don't worry." He chuckled.
"You're the only one who knows about my disagreements with sleep pants."
He chuckle. "Hey it's fine, I can see what you mean by them being un-comfy." He said smiling as he stopped the car and turned the engine off.
"Yeah. I Live in Forks so its mostly rainy and cold there so." He said un-clipping his seat belt.
She nodded and grabbed her bag and walked in with a bit of a smile.
