Notes from No Man's Land is not just another book about the racial divide in this country. Eula Biss tackles the subject in a more human way and not so confrontational. She threads her personal experience with research that flows easily to the reader. She brings light to racism in every day situations and informs readers about real events that have happened in the past. Some of the examples are heartbreaking but necessary to contribute to the reality of her stories. I would read anything written by Eula Biss again based on how relateable her style and tone are.
