I really enjoyed reading this book. I found the authors journeys very interesting. I liked the way she used research and facts to add to the meaning of her own life experience. Biss really could pull her reader into her life journeys by conveying the information with research and facts from the past. I usually do not like a book that jumps around but I really enjoyed how in Biss's writing even when she was jumping around in her essays she pulled all of the different ideas together at the end.
