I'm currently reading this book and so far IT'S AMAZINGLY AWESOME! I really don't have a problem with the romance, its sweet and cute and Noah...*swoons* he is just amazing and Mara is snarky which is awesome.

Noah is just...amazing and beautiful and straight to the point and he cares for Mara. His backstory was just sad, I shed a few tears.

L I think it was good, i definately enjoyed it, hard to put away too!
I dont see why its a problem that the romance "takes over" the story, i mean i feel like it was kinda fitten in well, and it makes sense with the events.

Give it a try :)

Claire You should read it. It is so good. And besides Noah is like freaking awesome

Vanessa I loved the series, it's one of my favorites and the 2nd book is better than the first. There's a lot of mystery in it, and you're never sure what's real, what's not. There's also a lot of surprising twists, especially in the 2nd book. Huge cliff hanger endings. I got sucked into the world right when I picked up the book and I could not put it down. I have been recommending this series to everyone I know, so I would definitely recommend it to you. However, if you're not sure if it's worth buying, you can always try getting it at the library first and then if you like it you can always buy it later.

Lolegitmalmeister I absolutely loved this book! I can understand how it might be confusing to some, because the narrorater isn't exactly... trustworthy in telling the story, however unintentionally so, and that can make it slightly difficult to decipher what's real and what she's imagining. (I'm not going to explain how that scenario is possible because that will spoil it.) However, I thought that that only enhanced the suspense!

Helen C This book is my one my favorite books and I definitely suggest reading it. At some points it is a little depressing and slow, but you should work through it because the good parts are so good that they considerably rule out the bad.

Just call me Pocahontas:) I think you should check it out at the library.

Serafina Garnett i bought it, having no idea what it was about and i read it and loved it so much.
it is great if you like the mystery and romance and pure awesomeness :)
i am in the middle of the second book right now

Hazel Mae Read it. It's amazing and really creepy. There was one time, I was reading the book in my bed at 1 in the morning and then I slept without brushing my teeth because I was so scared to get out of bed and and was afraid to see the things Mara saw on the mirror.

Giota I disliked it. None of the characters have any personality, they are as cliche as they come, there isn't much of a plot to talk about, the romance is ludicrous and the supernatural aspect makes no sense whatsoever. Waste of money and time.

*facepalm* If you need some creepy awesomeness, beautiful mystery and funny badass characters, yeah it's freaking worth reading it!!!

Khara Give it a try! I liked this book and read the second one as well. It's a dark strange story. You don't know whether she's going crazy or not. It's a dark story but worth the read

Hannah Frisch IT WAS SOO GOOD!
