Leia heard people and froze. She often came here when she wanted to be alone, she regarded it as her secret place. She heard their conversation and thought of a way to get them out of here.
She used her power to make the lights--already dim and flickering--appear to go out, plunging them into blackness.

Suddenly, the lights flickered out. Amelia stepped in front of the boy, just in case. She drew her katana, and put a hand to her throat. "WHO DISTURBS ME IN MY HOUR OF SLUMBER?!" she boomed, in the deepest, most fright-inducing voice she could think of.
Coil whimpered, releasing Amelia's hand and curling into a tight ball on the floor where he landed.
Leia jumped at the loudness of the voice, but maintained the illusion, sending an answering wind blowing at them from behind. The sound of many whispers echoed through the shack, for the most part indistinguishable but for the occasional word, and coming from no discernable direction.
Amelia knelt next to Coil. "Don't worry," she whispered. "It's just me." She stood up once more. "I'M COMING FOR YOU NOW," she roared, in the same voice as before. She then opened her mouth, and imitated the sound of rattling chains and thundering footsteps.
Leia shifted uneasily, heightening the intensity of the illusion.
"You come for me?" An answering voice hissed from behind Amelia. "It is I who comes for you!" A bony hand shot out of the darkness and seized Amelia's wrist, tentacles reaching up and wrapping around her legs. Leia made her feel afraid.

((Oh. Okay. How did she know where Amelia was, though?)) Fear began to take over, but Amelia didn't know why. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been frightened. She gulped, and took a deep breath, slapping her wrists where the creature grabbed her. Maybe the house was really haunted? "YES," she replied, the voice a little less loud. "I HAVE COME TO EXPEL YOU FROM THIS HOUSE."
((She sensed her mind. That, and she was shouting :P))
A feeling of satisfaction crept through Leia as she heard the strange voice falter.
The hand released her. A low laugh echoed around the room. "You know nothing of what you speak. Begone from this place, and do not return."

((True.))Amelia squinted, but couldn't see anyone. She sat down next to Coil, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "NAH, I'D RATHER NOT," she rumbled back, the laughed a little. Half from nervousness, and half from the casualness of her last reply. She decided to stick with it. "I'D RATHER JUST CHILL HERE." Her heart began to race, and she couldn't understand why.
Suddenly, everything went still. The wind was gone, the voices silent. Then a voice roared like thunder, the force of it almost tangible: "GET OUT!!!"
Amelia clenched her fists. "NOT UNTIL YOU SHOW YOURSELF," she roared in reply. "SHOW ME YOUR REAL FACE, UNLESS YOU'RE TOO SCARED." She drew her blade, and stood up, in front of the boy.
((I know right?!))
The lights flickered back on, and Amelia found herself in a room of mirrors. Leia giggled.
To Amelia, Coil appeared to have vanished, although from Coul's perspective, he was right there in the room with her.

Amelia blinked once. She was surrounded by mirrors, and the boy was gone. "What did you do to the boy?" she called, forgetting to change her voice.
Leia frowned at the sudden change in voice. She mentally searched the shack again. There seemed to be only two people here. "Who are you?" she countered, careful to maintain the illusion of using the rasping voice of earlier.
((Haha, she can't actually like transport people or anything, she can just do illusions and stuff))
Amelia rolled her eyes, and watched as her reflection did the same. Cool. Well... seeing as whoever this is already knows I'm a human, I'll just have some fun. She straightened up, making sure to sheath her sword. She didn't know where the boy was, but he had to be nearby. She didn't want to accidentally gut him. "I AM YOUR CONSCIENCE," she shouted back. "OOOO, SPOOKY."
Leia really laughed then, a high-pitched, girlish giggle, and she didn't think to block it from Amelia's hearing. The sound was fainter, because it wasn't a part of the illusion, but it was there.
((Oh! I was waiting for you. x) ))Amelia heard a giggle from somewhere in the room, and straightened up, confused. Apparently something found her ad-libbing funny. She opened her mouth, and disco music began to play. Why the heck not, she thought.
The lights went out again, and when they returned she was back in the original room, with Coil at her side. "Don't try to find me," the voice hissed one last time. "I can do things to you. Bad things." Leia let the illusion dissolve.
All this did to Coil was confuse him, and an already fearful mind forced fear as the only reaction to any stimulus, however irrational.
Amelia glanced down, and saw the boy. He looked terrified. She knelt down, and rested a hand on his shoulder. "Like what?" she called out to the voice, curious.
"I heard you giggle, y'know," she added. "I think you're a human, too. Right?" She looked to the boy, hoping he'd say something.
((She shall. >:) ))Amelia looked at Coil. "I'm going to go and see what that thing is. I'll come back, okay?" She waited to see if he would answer.
Amelia sighed. "Well, I'm going to go check this out. Stay here, okay?" She got up, and walked towards the area of the house where she had last heard the voice.
