Scarlett sighed as she looked to the house. Maybe Metra had been right over the fact that this wasn't the best idea. She wasn't going to tell him that though.

(really, who?)

Aella stumbled through a bush, twigs snapping and branches breaking. The gnarled root of a tree snagged on her shoe, sending her crashing into the damp grass and snapping her from her trance-like state.
"Shit, Shit, Shit." Aella winced and pushed herself back up to standing, favoring her left ankle. She looked around her as she pushed hair from her face, taking a moment to untangle a leaf from her hair.
She had no idea where she was.
Not the faintest, bloody clue.
And she had been doing so well!
With a sigh she headed towards a little shack, though it looked abandoned. Maybe there would be a map in there..

"I don't suppose you have a map?"

"Why hello Sugar Dumplings, could you be needing this to help your new friend, Red?" Metra asked, directing the question to Scarlet as he spun the map around and held it up for the two girls to see. It was very Detailed too, Metra had many people doing this including surveying.

"if you get lost so Easily Here are the Directions Written, or we could accompany you there if you wish." Metra offered as he held out the Completed map to Aella, a Gentle smile on his Face which gave kindness. it made Scarlett's reaction to him seem......unjust.

"I would love some company, if you two are okay with that?" Her gaze flickered between the two of them, the question lingering in the air

"No," she started, slowly, hesitantly, as she hoped she remembered correctly. "I haven't been able to alter them. Though I've been told sometimes I can be seen in the dream if I'm fully emersed in it. Basically I see the dreams around me all the time as part of my reality. I can focus on them, or they are just there. Like I can still see the dream that brought me out here, but I'm trying not to focus on it." She said as she focused on the path in front of them again, wind casting some hair over her eyes

A rock skittered away from them as she lightly kicked it with the worn toe of her shoe.

"I'm sure you'll get it eventually. I've never heard of a power like that, but every one I have heard of takes time to master."

"Mm, true." She nodded, looking around as the buildings started to look more familiar. Sort of. That was one thing she hated about smaller towns. It was so hard to keep track of where you were because so much looked the same.
