Conquering (conqueringdinner) | 27 comments This book is part of a series of The Berenstain Bears books called First Time Books. When I went to add it to the series, I noticed that it was also listed in a series plainly titled The Berenstain Bears, which seems to have random Berenstain Bears books. Should the plainly titled The Berenstain Bears series be deleted and instead added as a character?

Thanks for the clarification, new to Goodreads and librarian status.

I see no reason all the Berenstain Bears books would not constitute a series. Common characters and "universe", check. Applies to each edition of each work, check.

As for the "First Time Books" series, it seems to qualify under those criteria as well, but it seems rather silly to make a series (sub-series, I guess) based solely on reading level.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments I don't think it needs to be a character - but I'm also not sure it needs to be it's own series.

There are actually two series titled "The Berenstain Bears" - the one you linked as well as this second one. The second one has a list of other Berenstain Bears series linked to it.

There are also two series claiming to be First Time Books:

It really looks like the whole thing could use an overhaul. :s

There's a pretty complete list of books and their series here: http://berenstainbears.wikia.com/wiki...
