He couldn't bear to see her cry. He walked around the table and put his arm around her, crouching down so that he was the same height as she was sitting down. "I know. And you know I always loved you. Even when I killed dad and left you and mom. Even when I thought I'd lost you...Lia, you don't know how that affected me...that's why I can't ever let that happen again. You understand?"

Lia wiped her tears and hugged him. She just needed something simple she can have. Her brother's love. "But I don't want to lose you either ..((gtg sleep in 2 minute))

"And you won't. I've managed this long without you, haven't I?" He smiled wryly. "Just promise me."

Lia knew she couldn't lie to him." Promise" she managed

"Thank you," he said, relieved.

She smiled at him.

He smiled in return. He couldn't help it, when she was around. He couldn't believe she'd returned to him seemingly from the dead.

She just kept tempering that one night an assassin almost killed her

lia nodded and smiled , she loved seeing him smile it reminded her of old days when they would go outside so they can avoid their dad and just run around pretending they're in never land.

"Alright. Then how does now sound?" He stood and threw her trash away.

"Well why not " she said pulling her small knife out of her pocket which would probably be useless in a fight, but she held on to that knife:
the knife symbolised her childhood and love for Lucus , it was the first knife he threw and she remembered how he gave to her so it can always protect her.

Sara walked in, ordering a sub for her and one for Adam.

JJ was already sitting at a table, but not eating.

She glanced in his direction as she waited. she'd seen him at the farm earlier but didn't know who he was.

He met her gaze coolly.

She raised an eyebrow at him.

He winked, unsmiling.

"Nice work at the farm earlier. very entertaining."

"illusions." She said. making illusions of a few people appear around them.

She looked him over. He was kinda cute too. "Got a name?"

"Pleasure," he said, standing, and pulling out the chair opposite his for her to sit.

She sat with her sandwich. "Haven't seen you around here before the farm. you new?"

"New enough." He leaned forward. "But enough about me. Tell me about you."
