And a bonus Q: Does it now have a fine on it? ;) (Because mine do! D'oh!)

Lauren | 13 comments I just checked out nonfic Likeable Social Media and nonfic Ricky Lauren's The Hamptons. I lived in NYC for a year back in my 20s. Anyone who has spent a summer in NYC understands the allure of the Hamptons. I'm excited to chill with this big coffee table book!

Valerie Yeah, I do not tend to check out only one at a time. I have out right now, Nearly Departed in Deadwood, Out of Circulation, and Privy to the Dead. Two, I just finished, and the other just starting.

No fines, as my library does not have any...but, they are not overdue. As a matter of fact, I made sure I had one of them done as it has a reserve on it and someone is waiting to read it after me.

Melissa Powers | 2 comments I also tend to check out books in groups. I took five with me on a family vacation. Primarily, I get a lot of books recommended to me by friends who know my preferred genres, but I am a tough customer when it comes to books. Typically I'll open a book & decide if I can stomach it within the first two paragraphs. Lately the authors I couldn't put down are Neil Gaiman, and Ransom Riggs, but growing up as a child it was always Ray Bradbury. I think Neil Gaiman is my new Ray. This week I read The Graveyard Book, and started M is for Magic. Both intended for high school age children, but there is still a bit of child in me. So, I checked out five & will read 2 & take the others back without reading beyond the first page so I'll leave them unnamed.
