Galen frowned a little bit," I'm sorry I thought you saw." He said softly now feeling bad about it. "Is that a bad thing?" He asked still frowning a little bit
"Aside from the fact that you're not actually my boyfriend?" Adrianna asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Ade please tell me that's your boyfriend's truck," Sara, her mom, said as she walked into the house. "Oh hello," she said straight after, noticing Galen with Adrianna.
"Hi to you too mom," Adrianna said sarcastically with a grin.

"I'm Sara, Ade's mom. are you the reason she's been sneaking in?" Sara asked bluntly with a bright smile, holding her hand out for Galen to shake. Adrianna just looked at her mom with wide eyes, not even knowing she knew about her sneaking in.
"I'm Galen and... I didn't actually really know about her sneaking in." He answered shaking her hand
"We're you guys here all afternoon? Alone?" Sara asked, looking between the two of them with a sly smile.
"Yeah," Adrianna answered. "And no mom," she added, rolling her eyes.
"Hey, I just wanted to make sure you guys were protected," Sara replied, holding her hands up in the air while Adrianna covered her eyes with her hand.

Galen gave Adrianna a confused look as she and her mother talked. He was really lost as to what in the world they were talking about not used to stuff like this
"So Galen," Sara started after giving Adrianna a suspicious look. "How long have you and Ade been dating?" She asked him.
Galen glanced at Adrianna for a second," not very long." He answered
"Not very long?" Sara asked surprised, looking between Galen and Adrianna. "I don't believe you. She's already spending more time with you than she does any of her friends. Either that or you're really important to her."
"Mom," Adrianna nearly snapped, glancing at Galen.

Galen shrugged," I don't know the answer to that you would have to talk to Adrianna about it." He answered looking at her for a second. He was starting to feel very uncomfortable
Adrianna rubbed her forehead with her hand and abruptly stood up from the couch. Her face was tinted red from the embarrassed blush. "Mom, Galen's leaving now," she said, giving him a hard look and nodding towards the door.
Galen looked at her and got up nodding," actually I have to be somewhere."'he answered looking at Adrianna
"Oh well then see you Galen. Be good to Ade," Sara said with a smile and wave before she walked into the kitchen. With a sigh of relief, Adrianna opened the door and waited for Galen to walk out before she followed. "I'm so sorry about that," she said.
Galen nodded," I will it was nice to meet you." He said then walked out with her. He shrugged a little," I thought she was going to skin me." He muttered
"I'd say she wouldn't but she probably would," Adrianna replied with a small laugh. "I'm really sorry about that. She talks a lot, says things she really shouldn't," Adrianna apologised again.
"Lovely don't tell her what I really am or I will end up dying." He answered with a small smile. He nodded a little." okay well half of what she was saying didn't make sense to me."
"See, now you understand," Adrianna told him with a nod. "That's such a relief, you don't even know," she laughed.
"Okay I know I know." He answered chuckling softly. " you mean you are okay with the fact that I had no clue what just happened?"
"I am more the completely fine. I'm pretty ecstatic about it. If you understood what she what she said," Adrianna said, shaking her head at her mom.
He nodded a little bit." Well I should go before she starts asking me stuff I really don't understand."
"Good idea," Adrianna laughed. "I'll see ya Galen," she said with a smile.

Adrianna was just lounging around the house when she heard a knock at the door. When she heard a knock at the door, she pushed herself off the couch, running a hand through her messy hair and opened the door to see who it was.

Gale had a little girl standing in front of him as he knocked on her door
"Galen? What are you doing- ohhhhh," Adrianna stated to ask before she saw the little girl standing in front of him. "Oh you were actually serious."
Galen nodded a little," I told you I was." He answered topaz looking up at her," Are you a real human?"
Adrianna thought about her question for a moment, not really sure if she could call herself a real human anymore. "Yeah, I grew up here," she answered the girl with a shrug.
Galen frowned a little bit at Topaz." Fish you can't just ask that question randomly or you will get us in trouble." He muttered Topaz smiled," That's so cool."
Adrianna laughed as she heard Galen's mumble to his niece, Topaz she thought her name was. "I guess it is. I mean, I think growing up underwater is pretty awesome so," Adrianna replied with a small laugh.
Topaz wiggled around," you mean uncle Gale told you about us?" She asked," He broke a rule." Galen blushed a little." Fish stop and stop saying stuff so loud or we will never be allowed up here again."
"Well, I grew up here and no one told me but I found out that I'm actually a mermaid the other week," Adriana told her, not wanting her to think that Galen had done something wrong. "Do you guys wanna come in?" she asked them.
Topaz looked at her wide eyes.," how did you know you were like us?" She asked looking at her.
Adrianna laughed at her question, finding her reaction adorable. "I fell into a pool and I got a tail. Galen found me, explained what was going on as much as he could. It was pretty scary. I thought that I was normal until then and then I found out I was a mermaid," she answered, shaking her head bit a bit at the memory.
Galen laughed softly looking at his niece with a smile," It's true. And her tail is really pretty too." He said looking at Adrianna with a smile Topaz nodded," Yeah can we go in Uncle Gale?" She asked

Adrianna smiled back at him and opened the door wider for the two of them to walk in. "So, you been enjoying your day?" Adrianna asked Topaz.
Topaz nodded," yeah uncle Gale showed me a funny movie while my mommy went out to get me some new clothes."
"Oh really?" Adrianna asked, sitting down on the couch. "What did you watch?" She asked, glancing at Galen.
"Ummm it was about mermaids." She answered"I thought she would find the little mermaid funny." Galen commented
"Are you sure? Or is it because it's the only kids movie you actually know?" Adrianna asked teasingly. "Hey, did you know they based Ursula the sea witch off of your uncle Gale?" she asked Topaz.
Galen rolled his eyes," Dont listen to her fish."He told topaz.

"No, that's what he looked like before you were born," Adrianna told Topaz with a serious expression, winking at Galen when she wasn't looking.
