Hiya! Yes, it is midnight now in Spain, so techincally I could start, but I want to kno if this sounds ok for you. Because I think that there are +40 chapters and an easier division of the book which are three section. The sections themselves are quite long, or more like they have quite a few chapter, so I though that because it is 2 weeks (14 days) we could add 1 more day and read for 5 days one section, then the next five the 2nd one, and the last five the 3rd and last section.
What do you think?
This way we could also comment each section at the end of those 5 days and say what we think about the book.

I don't think so... Since no one replied but you. I think we're just gonna read and try to finish the book by the 20th

Lindsey (freckles-and-books) So sorry, I didn't see this. But I'm already on section 2! I didn't think I would be reading it this fast!

message 8: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey (freckles-and-books) Yeah, I've been averaging 100 pages a day so far, but it's totally ok to read slower! Maybe I'll slow down and try to catch up on a TV show or something ;)

Lindsey (freckles-and-books) Sometimes you just have to plow through. Don't worry about any dreaded slumps :)

I know the book is tough... especially with those looooooong paragraphs, but it is that I just don't want to read. I want to plan my novel and then continue writing it, or sleep or just do nothing and stare at the ceiling.

message 17: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey (freckles-and-books) Honestly, I feel like we get so scared of slumps when we should just take that time to do other things. When I'm in less of a reading mood, I get a lot done. I actually watch my TV shows, I paint, etc.

Guys, I don't know if I should give up on the book... I have no desire to read it. I think it's not the time to read such a dense book T__T My mind is all about "I want to read Me Before You, and also Christmas with Billy and Me..." My mind wants to read contemporary!!

message 20: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey (freckles-and-books) I've given up on books before only to read them later and love them. You have to read what you're in the mood for :)
