Nice month Lorraine! I admire you for finishing (and tackling) the Margaret Thatcher book. Skimming sounds like the way to go... and still gain the gist of it. I should probably get back to the Aurora Teagarden series and agree about Stephen King being very able to relate to average people and their struggles and motivations. Finders Keepers is a good example of that.
I think I read one of the Aurora Teagarden books a few years ago. I'm enjoying FINDERS KEEPERS.

You certainly were on a Charlaine Harris kick this month, Lorraine! Glad you kicked it up a little with the Stephen King.
The book was read for my library reading group.
This book flips back and forth from France 1916 to present day with two parties fighting over a painting stolen during WW1 by the Germans. A good read.
The Path to Power by Margaret Thatcher(nf)
Very slow moving book by Thatcher. Too much of English politics and not enough of her personal life.
I found myself skimming large sections.
Shots Fired by C.J. Box (mystery)
Ten short stories, three of them never before published. An enjoyable quick read.
Real Murders by Charlaine Harris (cozy mystery)
This book is the first in the Aurora Teagarden series. "Roe" belongs to a club called real murders. They discuss old famous murders. One of the club members is found murdered.
A fun, relaxing read.
A Bone to Pick by Charlaine Harris (cozy mystery)
"Roe" inherits a house from a member of the club. While going through the house, she discover a skull in the window seat of a bay window.
Another fun read.
Three Bedrooms, One Corpse by Charlaine Harris (cozy mystery)
Roe is thinking of selling real estate, until two real estate women are killed in houses that are vacant.
The Julius House by Charlaine Harris (cozy mystery)
Newlywed Roe moved into an older home. Six years earlier the family that lived there had disappeared, never to be seen again.
Finders Keepers by Stephen King
This is more of a thriller than horror. Love the way King, even though he is rich, still can relate to the average person in his books.
A very good read!
