The list of Dickens works is so long that I don't find how to combine them. I see in the list many other books in different languages that should be combined.

What I have found works, is if you know 2 editions that need combined:
1) You temporarily modify the title of both books (I like adding -temp to the end of the title)

2) Filter the combine page by your designator

3) Combine books.

4) Fix titles back to original value.
