Seringea | 2 comments Hi everyone!

I am a life-long reader, long-time almost writer and recent actual writer. At the beginning of this year started working on my first novel, and I quickly got a bitter reminder of how few reading enthusiasts I actually know in real life. Who am I kidding, it's not even a few. I don't know a single one.

So my question is this,
Is there any fellow writer out there who would like to have someone to trade idea's with, analyze each other's works, encourage each other and so forth?

I am grateful to anyone who wishes to be my writing buddy, but it would be even nicer if we shared a similar taste in novels. Some of my favorite books are Middlesex, The Virgin Suicides, Catcher In The Rye, Norwegian Wood, Running With Scissors, A Hundred Years of Solitude, The Game of Thrones series, Lolita and Wuthering Heights.

Basically anything off-beat, thought-provoking, psychological and/or with magical realism. And I never say no to good fantasy/sci-fi either.

Feel free to reply in this thread if you are interested, and we can proceed to exchange contact information :)

Ed Morawski I am just starting a new novel with paranormal and sci-fi elements. I could use a woman's point of view and welcome active participation (if you want).

I'm always happy and ready to read someone else's work and present an honest (blunt) opinion and ideas.

If you're interested please contact me by clicking on the little arrow next to FOLLOW AUTHOR and send me a private message.

Sierra Nihil (sierra_nihil) I am beginning to write a novel of my own, and would be very interested in receiving feedback from someone more experienced than I.

In addition, I am always happy to help others with their work in whatever way I can.

Murissa | 1 comments I am also writing a novel - my second attempt at writing one. I graduated with a double major in creative writing and art history. I took a part 1 novel writing course in university which helped me get to 25,000 words but I wasn't in love with my story.
I am trying again with a new idea and would love to join you all!

It is a time travel novel set in Venice, Italy.

Seringea | 2 comments Thank you all for your interest! I have already had nice exchanges of feedback with a few of you, and I regret that I haven't got the time to reach out to all of you. I'm pretty busy this summer, but I might contact more of you come autumn. However, I strongly encourage you to reach out to your fellow posters in this thread as well!
