I love reading romance paranormal, preferably young adult or new adult age. Jennifer Armentrout is a favorite author of mine, so was the Angelfall series by Susan EE.

I wondered if any of your characters are inspired by people you know and if so do the real people know about it? Or have you unintentionally been inspired by people and then only realised after writing the book? :)

What books or authors have influenced you, either growing up or as a writer?
What are your (current) favorite books that you would recommend to anyone and everyone?"
I absolutely loved reading Nora Roberts and her JD Robb collection. I also loved Charlaine Harris and Janet Evanovich. I think all three of them helped me with my writing style. Favorite books right now: the Lux Series by Jennifer Armentrout and another series by her, Dark Element Series. And Susan Ee's AngelFall series. I've been on a paranormal romance kick the last few months.

I love NY so chances are good I'll be there again, but I haven't been invited to any signing there for awhile. I don't travel too much for personal reasons, but if I were asked for 2017, I would probably say yes. :) And I love Jay!!

I would like to ask which of your characters, in your opinion, is most similar to you?"
They all have traits from me. I don't think there's one that's exactly like me, but all have something from me (good and bad.) lol! :)

Have you written a book you love that you have not been able to get published?"
Oh yes. I have a lot of books that I wrote when I was first starting to learn (I'm still learning), but I didn't publish them because they were so horribly written. The Chen Series was one of them. All ten of those books are retired and they were my very first books I ever wrote. There's a few more that I have up on free reading on my website (www.tijansbooks.com) that will probably never get published.

Yep! I like writing that 'dark' stuff. I do have one in the works, but I don't know how dark it is compared to Carter Reed. If you read Carter 2, I'm hoping to get Cole's book written, but I'm not sure when it will happen. If I do, that will be pretty dark. What kind of dark books do you like? What do you enjoy about dark romance?

I spend time with my other half and lots of cuddling with my puppy! He's actually full-grown now, but he looks like a permanent puppy. Other than that: television, movies, seeing friends every now and then, and cleaning (of course).
Or if I'm not doing any of those things, that usually means I'm starting to daydream about the next book. I'm doing lots of daydreaming about Logan's book right now.

I think Fallen Crest High was my favorite. I think it was my favorite because I actually was able to stick with the outline and when I was posting it online, I didn't have a lot of readers then. A few were following me on Livejournal back then so it was really just fun writing it. :)

What is your fav series of those you have written. I love the jaded books the most. Thanks!

Oh yay!! My favorite series-- that's hard. Probably the Fallen Crest because they won't shut up. I keep writing them. Lol! I really loved writing the Chen Series, but those are all retired. They were my very first.

Whilst writing does music play a part in the process? If so, why, what kind, ..."
Big factor! It's not normal for me to write unless music is playing. If I find an album that I really like, I can write all day to that. I haven't found an album like that, though, where I listen to it over and over for awhile. Right now, I'm listening to Canyons.

Haha! That's awesome. I have had a few characters in my books that are loosely based from some people I know in real life, but they don't know it and those characters are usually pretty small. The big main characters aren't based off of people, though.
