New/Alternate Covers

I followed the instructions to add alternate covers for:
Pillow Stalk (9781940976068)
That Touch of Ink (9781940976099)
With Vics You Get Eggroll (978194962435).

I didn't know if I should add the full new description in the description field or only the ISBN and explanation of alternate cover being added (so I did for Pillow Stalk but not the others).

Do I need to do the same thing for ebook editions?

Hi Diane,

You can add the full description in the alternate cover editions (ACE) along with mentioning the ISBN for which the book is an ACE. The way you wrote description for Pillow Stalk's new cover edition is absolutely fine and you can do the same for other two books as well. :)

I found that you added these 3 books as new standalone ones instead of editions of the existing books. So I combined the 3 new books with the respective books already on GR. I also added a note on new cover editions that these are ACEs (since these books don't have ISBN field populated, others may mistakenly delete the books thinking they are duplicates).

I assume the ISBN-13 for the 3rd book is 9781941962435 (yours had only 12 digits). Did you by chance add two new books for With Vics You Get Eggroll instead of one? I found this one with no cover.

You can update the description of new cover books for That Touch of Ink and With Vics you Get Eggroll paperbacks. And you can repeat the process you have followed for ebook versions too except that they have to be added as new editions of existing books instead of new standalone books.

I guess you are already familiar with how to make your new covers as default editions (if you wish)? If not, you can check this.

Sorry about the ISBN mistake on With Vics You Get Eggroll. Your ISBN 13 is correct. Also, yes, I completed that one first and realized I forgot to upload the cover (the whole point!).

No confusion. I'll now add the full new descriptions to the updated editions.
