I sadly watched the movie before the book, so I was VERY confusing
I thought that the series only got really good with the fifth book
The first was ok, the second, too, part of the third was AWFUL, part amazing, so all in all it was ok again, the fourth was horrible and yeah
But Cassandra Clare does have the most beautiful writing style I've ever read
TID is way better, though

I have to agree with you there. I did like The Infernal Devises better. I think that had to do with the fact that Will was in them. And also Magnus bane is my favorite character, and I think he is in the Infernal Devises more than The Mortal Instruments. So yeah...
